Decent size car park. Good views far as the eye can see. no charges or height restrictions, no amenities, quite stop over for the night. able to have a lazy morning , with good country walks right next to it. Please park side on and not looking up the hill, if in a really long wagon you can grab the end spot up the top under the tree and still not stop the local dog walkers in the morning (of which there are plentiful)

Parkplatz in angemessener Größe.

Nice views and spacious carpark. Road noise all night though.

  • 4/5

We stayed last night in our 7m long motorhome, easy peasy, no issues. Other vans/motorhomes parked there too, no height barrier, quiet, beautiful views and there was even a coffee/breakfast trailer that had set up in the morning. Good access to nice walks

Great views, no restrictions but maybe not ideal for anything over 6m. slight parking slope, some traffic noise, but otherwise a decent stop.

  • 4/5

Great car park to stay over right by the South Downs way path some traffic noise form the road but no other issues if you have a 6m+ van then you may need to park longways as it’s not overly wide coffee van arrives around 09:00 everyday

Petit parking bien pratique. On y a passé 1 nuit début août. La route est relativement calme la nuit. Il y a 1 poubelle. Grand camping-car s'abstenir.

  • 1/5

The place was blocked due to an enormous festival close by

  • 5/5

Nice car park. Great 360 degrees views. Very quiet night. Coffee van arrived at 08.00 for walkers and cyclists doing the South Downs Way. Lots of dog walkers.

  • 5/5

Tucked out of the way of the road, some cars coming and going in the evening but relatively quiet. Nice walks close by & coffee man who arrived about 8am. Great option for a nights stopover

  • 4/5

Not a bad place to stop overnight, it does get busy with dog walkers/runners/riders. we had no bother nice quiet night. Coffee man turns up about 0800 and the traffic starts to get busy on the road from about 0700.

Stayed here for 1 night, there where a couple of other campers. Very quiet spot and slept very well. It’s a lovely view to wake up to and beautiful walks.

  • 3/5

Perfectly pleasant spot. Although quite a steep gradient. Arrived late, to some gorgeous stary skies. Got quieter as the evening passed. Good emergency stop, with not many about at all.

  • 3/5

Had to stop here due to not finding anything else close by. Road noise pretty much all night the odd car, I still slept though. Early morning the local coffee van set up next to me with a noisy generator. Can't complain though as I will be buying some fresh coffee when they open.

Nice spacious car park, lovely view ! We arrived at sunset so it was beautiful. We stayed overnight in our MWB Sprinter Van and there were mainly just other cars on the lot of walkers as there are hikes nearby. Recommend for a nice simple stay if passing through and need somewhere to go

  • 4/5

Stayed overnight on a Saturday, lots of people came and went, mainly cars seeming to just take a break. A second camper turned up late at night. car park may be hard for larger Van's to turn around. This morning we woke up to the sound of the motorcross championship at the bowl just round the corner. Enjoyed our night, got to keep ourselves to the selves and the sunset was beautiful.

  • 4/5

Amazing views, stayed overnight during the week. car park was busy when we arrived at 15.00. Traffic noise wasn't too bad.

  • 5/5

I stayed here last night (26/11/2020) and found it lovely, I parked right at the top where it’s more level and had a good nights sleep. Gorgeous walks nearby, and the road is quiet at night- recommend! Plenty of 4G. I had a knock from the police at 2AM making sure I was alright because of something else, while they were here I asked if I was allowed to be here and they said yes it was perfectly fine.

  • 4/5

Had a good nights sleep here, its was windy but the right side of the carpark was better. It became busy in the morning but stayed until around 11am with no problems.

  • 4/5

Found this to be great for walks, and there's the natural amphitheater for some local information about it, good read. quite a bit windy up there but great otherwise for small vans.

  • 3/5

Stunning location but unfortunately younger people in their cars late evening

  • 2/5

This is a fairly narrow piece of road at 6.5m we were not able to park without blocking the whole road or taking up 4 spaces. Far more for cars and small vans

  • 4/5

Perfect little spot. Ever so slight incline but nothing to worry about. Sitting here in my L3 Relay, which fits fine. Beautiful view, and perfect place to watch the sun set over the hills.

  • 5/5

Lovely place to stay, you are on a slope but it isn't too bad. There were other people parked up when I got there, felt safe staying. Traffic noise in the morning but absolutely fine at night, lazy morning as no parking restrictions

  • 4/5

    Only suitable for small vans.

  • 4/5

Great place for a night. No height restrictions, no amenities but plenty of cover from trees. Car park closed during Boomtown festival. There are dog walks nearby and it's very close to Winchester.

  • 3/5

We arrived late and spent a quiet night. Slightly sloping but not so much that it caused us a problem. The road noise started about 7am, but again not too bad. Lovely views from here.
