Plenty of room for a few here, very quiet perfect rest over and do advise you see the tombs too
Parking de la nécropole de sovana. Nous y avons passé une nuit sans problème. Il y meme des toilettes à disposition. Ombragé, plat et gratuit.
Parking lot at the Sovana necropolis. We stayed here for one night without any problems. There are even toilets available. Shaded, flat and free.
Parkplatz an der Sovana-Nekropole. Wir waren hier für eine Nacht ohne Probleme. Es stehen sogar Toiletten zur Verfügung (den Schlüssel dafür erhält man am Ticketschalter). Schattiert, flach und frei.
Parcheggio presso la necropoli di Sovana. Siamo stati qui per una notte senza problemi. Ci sono anche servizi igienici disponibili. Ombreggiato, piatto e gratuito.

DnAnCnP06/04/2024Rustige plek naast een rivier. Vlakbij een archeologisch museum dat wel de moeite is om te bezoeken.
Duzifahrer14/12/2023Netter Parkplatz um die etruskischen Gräber zu besuchen, mehr aber auch nicht. Man steht direkt auf dem Präsentierteller. Uns war hier zuwenig Privatsphäre daher sind wir einfach 50 Meter weiter, in die Via Cava del Cavone, abgebogen. Nach 100 Meter steht man dort absolut ungestört und uneinsichtig. Hier können Sie dann durchaus die Gräber kostenlos besichtigen, einfach den Wanderweg folgen.
apmarcuse12/10/2023Perfekt um am nächsten Tag die Etrusker Gräber zu besuchen. Toiletten sind mittlerweile abgeschlossen. Die Nacht war ruhig, es hat sich niemand an uns gestört.

Abbiamo passato una notte tranquilla, c'erano altri camper. La strada che passa vicino la sera non è trafficata e non disturba il sonno. I servizi igienici non erano praticabili, magari ai primi di ottobre li chiudono. Paesino di Sovana (molto piccolo e carino) a 1km, sconsigliato andare a piedi, bisogna passare un tunnel con auto e camion.

À proximité d’une rivière. Plat, calme, poubelles à proximité. Pas mal de places possibles. Parfait pour la nuit nous étions seules. Parking utilisé en journée car site touristique à proximité.

Posto perfetto per passare una notte, bagni publici chiusi, dal’ altro lato della strada c’è l’ingresso alla necropoli etrusca

Wir haben hier eine schöne und sehr ruhige Nacht verbracht. Die Straße ist nachts kaum befahren und hat nicht gestört. Toiletten waren zumindest während der Nacht geschlossen.
Sleekpony09/06/2022Great quiet location for visiting the historical sites. It is set back a little from the road and we had an undisturbed sleep. The entrance fee is minimal but on the other side of the road it is free and well worth a stroll for a couple of hours.

In Verbindung mit dem Besuch der Nekropole kann man hier gut übernachten (sehr ruhig - morgens öffnet der Park um 0900 h) - Besuch von Sovana von hier mit dem Rad (1,8 km)

A quiet, flat bit of gravel. Perfect! Better, there are the tombs and via cavas to explore. Although the tombs ( Necropoli di Sovana) are currently the wrong side of a gate, which they expect you to pay to get past, there's a nice little access route in from the North East, starting just next to the info board for the main Via Cava. Top spot that we'd be happy to use again (out of season).

More of a wet gravel patch next to a stream which gets busy in the day from people visiting the attractions next door. The toilets was closed but it was well shaded and quite for a nights sleep

Peu de circulation, petit ruisseau à côté. Seul bémol : les toilettes étaient fermées à clé.
