Great to have a car park where campers are welcome , happy to pay £10 for 24hours so next day we could walk dogs & go around lovely shops for croissants/fruit/veg/sweets etc

  • 5/5

Fantastic stop. As it's so difficult to wildcamp in Cornwall this was a real find. only £6 for overnight (until 10am) if you arrive after 4pm otherwise it's £10. 2 other motorhomes parked near us. Level and quiet. Very short walk into lovely Mevagissey (great pubs - Ship Inn & Fountain Inn) & superb Fish'n chips at The Fisherman's Chippy by the harbour. We found everyone really friendly.

  • 5/5

Parked here overnight. Paid on app but should have paid the machine for £10. Attendant in the morning said fine as we were leaving. He said car park normally 24 hours but not over winter. We felt safe. Toilets across road not very clean. Seagulls noisy and some traffic through hours as a working port. Right next to the town. Had drink in wine bar but didn’t feel welcome. Recommend car park. Park behind building on right as you enter.

10£ für die Nacht bezahlt. Ruhiger Ort, kein Straßenlärm. Der Ort Mevagissey hat uns total verzaubert! Wunderschöner kl. Hafen, tolle Kneipen.

  • 5/5

It’s a car park. But in a great location for a good price.

  • 5/5

Toller Platz, 10 Pfund von 17 bis 10 Uhr bezahlt, Hafen gleich um die Ecke.

  • 4/5

10th July 2023 updated cost £14.50 for overnight stay. Quiet place to stay over night.

  • 5/5

  • 4/5

Toller Parkplatz ohne Extras. Charmantes Städtchen.

  • 5/5

Great stop over for Megavissey. £10 overnight, got there a bit before 5pm but didnt charge us for the extra 45 mins. Toilets just down the road - not 24 hours - we are self contained so not an issue. Short walk to the village and a good few pubs, shops etc. fab little harbour. Would definitely stay here again.

  • 5/5

Arrived at 4.30pm, charges from 5 pm overnight £10, good flat space on right hand side of carpark with lots of space for other motorhomes. Lovely short walk to the harbour, some nice pubs, and a brilliant little town. Had a cheeky Indian takeaway on the way home! Quiet overnight stay. Would definitely stay again.

  • 5/5

Somehow we missed this when we were searching Park4Night and were surprised when the chap at the ticket booth said we could stay overnight. If it's just overnight then current price is £10 - if you get there during the day then you will also have to pay the relevant daytime fee too. No facilities but town is under 2 minutes walk away.

  • 5/5

Perfect overnight spot. Very helpful staff

  • 4/5

Great parkup for Mevagissey. Really helpful and friendly staff who gave us several options on where best to park. £6 for campervan overnight (November) We got here an hour early and he waived the parking cost as we were staying overnight. Toilets nearby but unfortunately terrible 4G. Definitely recommend.

  • 4/5

Excellent stopover. Easy access reasonable price and convenient to the village. Toilets close by are a bonus.

  • 4/5

it's called willow car park...just before you get to the narrow streets...£8 for the night small camper...toilets about 100 yards into the town 8am to 6pm approx..little park the other way behind the fire station if you want to exercise your dog...leave by 10am

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

Paid £9 to park the night in a longish motorhome . Ended up returning the following night. Very short walk to the nice little town but dinner seems to finish early in many places so get into town before 8pm. Toilets short walk but locked from about 8pm. Staff super helpful and friendly at the car park.

  • 5/5

2 minute walk to the town, very nice carpark owner, lots of spaces.

  • 4/5

Had a great stop over for the night and would recommend.

  • 3/5

excellent place to visit but the public toilets near the car park are locked but the disabled toilet is unlocked

  • 4/5

For night in or 'out-on' the town of Meva, this is a great level car park with a public loos a stones throw. Paid £13.50 for 4pm on to 10am Easter weekend. Great pubs, restaurants, chippies in the old town and harbour area. For those less fussed about beer and grub there are quirky clothes, local craft and gifts, and antique shops. The busy fishing harbour with its piers are for all.

  • 5/5

Once again a very pleasant visit and just £9 for about 20 hours on this private car park. Great people running the operation. Good quiet night and close to town facilities.

  • 5/5

Great stop. We were greeted by the owner when we pulled in with all the information we needed. His mobile number is on the board if you have any questions or issues. Very quiet all night. Toilets close by. Mevagissey is a lovely town to visit. The Ship inn was very welcoming with great food. £10 well spent for 24hour parking.

  • 5/5

Great location to visit Mevagissey. car park attendant couldn't have been more helpful. moved us to flat ground for the night. plenty of bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. very pretty place to visit. do not go past the car and coach park as the streets a very very narrow you will get stuck.

  • 5/5

For what it is, overnight parking in a carpark, we were very happy. The location is amazing with only a short walk to the centre and restaurants and 20 minute walk to a great beach for swimming. The staff are really friendly and helpful and we loved the parking for pollinators scheme they have to help insect populations. Would recommend.

  • 5/5

We parked our coach here to tour mevagissey. Great staff. 12£ for all day. Large coach spots. Real relief as the streets are really narrow and unsuitable for navigating with an extra long vehicle. There were coaches there that seems to be there overnight, enquire with staff.

  • 4/5

Close to harbour and great restaurants, cafés and pubs. Was told by staff parking would be £10 per night after 5pm. Level carpark, can get busy so plan ahead. No facilities but conveniently placed near town.

  • 4/5

Parked here after 4pm. We have a 7.5m long motorhome and then have designated parking spaces for longer vehicles. Paid £6 for 8 hours. Was packed at 12pm so either come early or late to secure a space.

  • 1/5

We arrived 9.00am told the price would be £8.00 in the machine for 24 hours, or pay when the boss came in, we were then told the price was £21.00 as £8.00 was for a car if we wanted to stay 2 hours £4.50 ! So a big difference to the rest of the comments. We didn’t stay

  • 4/5

Nice and peaceful parking even without any services (which is why only 4 stars). Stay here every year as I know it is safe and trouble free, staff are friendly. Level tarmac parking. Great phone reception. Village is very pretty and has food available until late. Arrive late (parking to the right of main car parking)and pay in the morning, £9 before 10am, not the cheapest but it's Cornwall.

  • 4/5

Great spot. Very friendly carpark attendant.£9 overnight until 10am. No facilities so not 5stars, but quiet and very central to everything. Toilets just a short walk. Lovely little harbour, shops and eateries with fish caught locally.

  • 4/5

Lovely place to visit and Great place to park for the night. Guy on the gate couldn’t be more helpful. As per previous post use post code PL26 6SB for sat nav.

  • 5/5

Great amenity, we arrived at about 3pm and they charged us £9 until 10am next morning. We never expected to be able to stay this close to this lovely, tiny village in such a big motorhome (just over 7m) Absolutely do not go past the vehicle turning area. Recycling available just opposite the car park

  • 4/5

Do not drive into town ! you'll get stuck ! as you arrive in mevagissy it's the first car park on the left. i have a mwb merc sprinter and drive to the harbour car park which is advertised on here to be ok overnight but that's changed now so drive back the one way system and was told to go back the way i came or if get stuck, very narrow ! i did as was told and thankfully didn't meet any cars !

  • 4/5

Quick note as to postcode for this parking. DO NOT use the one listed above USE PL26.6SB. this postcode will take you to the front gate. other postcode will take you into the village and it's very tight.

  • 5/5

Stayed overnight on 12/09/2020. Arrived at 1pm and charged £10 until 10am the next day. The parking attendants were very friendly and show you to a separate part of the car park just for overnighting. There are public toilets 500 yds away (not 24hrs). Would highly recommend.

  • 4/5

Stopped here for one night Sunday into Monday. Very helpful and friendly parking attendants who were very COVID conscious. Perfect overnight stay. Felt very safe. Only problem we found was the public toilets were locked from 4pm Sunday evening and did not open all morning and no clear timings but if you have facilities then no issues.

  • 5/5

Pulled and paid for one night with extremely helpful parking attendant was tucked away up the corner of carpark behind the shop and was able to have a private place to sit without feeling of being in the middle of a carpark. Short walk in to adorable sea side village lots of shops and places to eat - with this decided to stay one more night (two night in total) as doesn’t feel like a carpark all and all really nice and the people who run this carpark should be congratulated. Thank you

  • 5/5

Extremely helpful, welcoming, friendly staff attend this car park. Quiet for overnight parking and only a short walk into Harbour area. Would recommend especially for Motorhome’s.

  • 5/5

Please don't follow the postcode listed just as you approach the village the car park is the first one on your left. do not attempt to go into harbour area with anything bigger than a short wheelbase van. this car park is really good it will cost you £8 per night but it is the closest you will get to mevagissey.

  • 5/5

Fantastic place friendly ticket guys, Mevagissey is lovely, loads of space round back for any size motorhome, warning do not miss the turning for car park, you’ll be in a whole heap of trouble,

  • 4/5

Motorhome friendly carpark a short walk from village centre. Friendly guy on the gate. We arrived early afternoon and paid a reasonable £10 for 24 hours stay. Toilets on the way into village. Lots of cafés and trinket shops but still a pleasant place to pass a few hours.

  • 3/5

There's lots of notices saying to park in centre of bays. Its not clear if large motorhomes need to pay for 2 bays and there was nobody to ask. We found a bay right in the top corner where we only took one bay although it was a bit of a slope. Lovely little fishing village.

  • 3/5

Stayed one night Dec 2019. winter price is £5 and it covers 4:00 pm to 10:00am. summer prices are higher and cover from 6:00pm. OK but some noise particularly in the morning. Easy walk to harbour, shops and pubs if you like that sort of thing.

  • 4/5

Loads of room for motorhomes ect. Fair prices, toilets not too far and plenty of places to eat!

  • 3/5

Zum übernachten in Ordnung. Sehr Stadt nah. Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich.

  • 3/5

Ne pas se fier à la localisation gps, le parking est le premier en arrivant sur la gauche. Cela nous a coûté 3pounds pour la nuit. Nous étions au calme. Le lendemain il fallait partir pour 10h

  • 5/5

Stayed here a few times now! Very nice place to stay right next to the shops and harbour is only a short walk away, staff are very friendly! We turn up when the staff have gone so just go and see them in the morning to pay! Never had a problem here and will continue to stay here when in the area! Mevagissey is a very nice place to visit and I would definitely recommend this place to people to stay for the night

  • 5/5

This is a great location for exploring Mevagissey. Parking attendants cheery and helpful, directed us to the motorhome stopover area. A few hundred yards walk into Mevagissey, great pubs, harbour and walks. We will be back, great find. £8.00 overnight.

  • 5/5

August 2018 stayed 2nights.. Attendants very helpful, no quible of staying over/next morning, £10 overnight.. £8 full day 200yds into the village.. Dont miss the entrance as its a one way system with some very narrow roads.. Well worth a visit !!

  • 4/5

Very handy car park. DO NOT drive past it as its a one way system with narrow streets after the car park entrance. We found the staff to be very friendly, and easily negotiated a compromise for staying after 10am. Its £10 a night in July 2018

  • 5/5

Lovely quiet car park to stay in. everything is close by within walking distance. cost £5 for the evening and the car park attendant was really nice the following morning, had a chat with us and let us run over our ticket

  • 4/5

Great location to the village- which is beautiful. Quiet carpark to stop for the night. Just be warned- the car park attendant does NOT like motorhomes staying after 10am- even if you pay! We had to bargain with him to allow us to buy a ticket for an hour to go get our breakfast and explore the town. Seemed a shame when the car park was mostly empty! Still worth a visit though.

  • 5/5

Quiet car park, toilets 1 minute walk away. Stayed 2 nights as the town was beautiful with lots to do.
