The name of the spot is LAPA Nice and quite place (except warm weekends). With barbecue and tables. To the village is 2km the only problem is that during the night it is dark and if you need help no one will help you. I don't recommend to sleep there. (2017) This year the fire devastated some of his beauty. In the winter is more beautiful that in the summer, but in the summer you can swim and refresh. Has been remodeled this summer (2017).

Permitamos 1 noite neste parque e simplesmente adoramos. O parque é limpo, seguro, com algumas sombras e perfeitamente integrado na natureza.Vale a pena pernoitar aqui e aproveitar para praticar desportos, passeios pedestres e desfrutar as fantásticas zonas balneares. Os passadiços do penedo furado ficam muito próximo do parque.
On the N358 find Cabeça das Mos. In centre of village signed to Lapa with wavy line underneath. 2 kms. to Lapa river and parking. Shallow water, small weir, bbq, benches, very pretty. Busy during summer day, but v. quiet overnight. Stayed 2 nights. GNR came both days - just waved. wc. door needs a wedge as won´t stay closed! Dog walks into the hills. Sheltered spot. Recommended.
Beautiful and serene. At night the 'streetlights' at the picknickspot light up in a warm yelliw/orange glow. It looks like a fairy-tale. Going to stay the night here, and maybe another. Thanks for sharing this location
During the night as no noise and during the day it is gorgeous, but I don't recommend no one to spend the night there, it is far from the village and in the night it is really dark, but I still loved it !
