Billybones8201/06/2022we stopped here to visit the museum. we'll worth booking a guided tour as there is so much more to see. we arrived the night before and stayed the night after. The museum has toilets which you can use if open 10.00hrs till 15.00hrs. no facility to empty or refill. the police park just on main road most of the time so a secure place is a little road noise and occasional siren.

Nuit relativement calme un dimanche soir, on attend la route un peu au loin. pratique pour les grands camping-car.
brummi05/07/2019Vorsicht!!!!! Wir hatten Nachts ungebetenen Besuch. Ein Mann hat sich an unserem Wohnmobil zu schaffen gemacht und sicher nichts gutes im Sinn gehabt. Er ist geflohen als wir Ihm zu verstehen gegeben haben daß wir ihn bemerkt haben!
RuthPaulandMavis21/05/2019We stayed here for one night in mid-May, but just down the road at the site of Stalag Luft III (where ‘the great escape’ took place). We parked next to the site of the tunnel exit and had a peaceful night. No services. In the morning a local man with a dog seemed to be patrolling the area. He took photos of our van but didn’t want to talk to us (he couldn’t speak English and we couldn’t speak Polish so maybe that was the problem). We left early as we didn’t want to upset anyone. Have heard nothing since. My grandad was a prisoner at the camp so it was special to be able to sleep so close to where he was 75 years ago!

Grand parking gratuit, à côté musée, (pa ouvert le jour ou on y était), endroit calme, pa d services, gros gabarit OK, terrain stabilisé. Attention le lieu indiqué n'est pa tout à fait bon. Voir photo panneau du musée. Nous y avons passé une très bonne nuit.
