Beautiful parking lot, stunning views. 4G on Vodafone was fine. Pay and Display machine was operating when I visited in December ‘23

Schön ruhig. Der Automat für die Tickets funktioniert wieder und gegen 20 Uhr werden die Tickets und Fahrzeuge gecheckt. Super mit Hunden, bitte Hinterlassenschaften wegräumen!

Stunning views, quiet place, had good phone service too. Obviously no facilities but there are several campsites close by.

Great views, walk up the hill for a panoramic view, well worth the effort. Need own sanitation, no facilities, only a couple of rubbish bins on site.

Guter Platz. Standen mit zwei anderen Campern dort. Aktuell ist der Bezahlautomat defekt. Es war ruhig und nicht sehr windig.

Stayed here one night and had no issues, 3 other campers while we here. Pay machine was not working so no way to pay, but usually £10 for the night, however on the road up there are loads of places worth trying before paying, some hard standing and some grass. It does get windy so be prepared for the van to move, good 4g signal with EE and Vodafone.

Council car park which is £10 for 24hr stay but can get busy as a popular spot. But it has lovely cliff views with the light house too - traffic can pick up around 9am but good for one night

Amazing views of the sea and Orkney. Beautiful if the weather is good, wild if windy/wet. So much atmosphere with the lighthouse working.

Super spot face à la mer. Avons pu assister au coucher de soleil avec ..... nos amis les midges qui ont quitté les lieux à la nuit venue. Nous y étions le 13/08. Le site est très calme avec un superbe panorama sur le large et les côtes.

Brilliant parkup with machine broken so free to stay (Even when machine is working it is invitation to pay). Be warned when it is not windy the midges here are very bad.

Très beau panorama depuis le point de vue situé juste au dessus du parking. Calme pour la nuit malgré la présence de plusieurs camping-cars. Machine pour payer le stationnement en panne lors de notre passage.

machine is broken so its currently free to stay. however, there isn't much to see here. the "northern most point" is someone's private residence and not open to the public.

Vue incroyable depuis le parking et en montant quelques centaines de mètres vers le petit sommet au dessus du phare. Machine en panne donc nuit gratuite sinon quelques livres en overnight parking. 2 poubelles mais sinon aucun service. parfait pour une belle nuit avec coucher de soleil et lumière du phare !

Dunnet lighthouse what a pleasure. We parked up for the night. The views are amazing looking over the sea to the Orkney. No facilities, 2 bins. We had 4 other vans/motorhomes staying over night. Lovely peaceful nights sleep. Vistors stopped coming about 9pm. £5 van or £10 motorhome for the night. Well worth it, however like the other comments say, the ticket machine is still out of order!!

Endroit tranquille, nuit calme, vue sur la mer. Nous étions 6 campervans. Machine en panne, nous n'avons donc pas payé. Pas de toilettes. Nous avons pu observer des macareux et autres oiseaux sur les falaises.

Prima plek met machtig uitzicht.

Am nördlichsten Punkt übernachten... toller Platz mit mega Aussicht! Parkautomat war kaputt, daher kostenlos. Zwar nur ein paar Parkbuchten für Womos, aber nachts standen hier bestimmt 12 Stück. Wir hatten Glück, denn es war kaum Wind.

loved this spot felt safe with other campers around, out of the way with scenic views and a working lighthouse. The machine was off when we stayed but we'll worth £10.

Amazing views, you can stay here for £10 a night but the machine not working at the moment so it’s free, stayed in the motor home spots quite windy but perfect for a night

parcheggio a pagamento 10 sterline. Molto tranquillo, panorama super, abbiamo visto uno dei più bei tramonti in Scozia. e'anche il luogo dove abbiamo sentito il vento più forte di tutta la Scozia!

Stayed over on 14/06. Press hashtag on the ticket machine to fetch the overnight Moho rate which is £10. Only 5 bays specifically for motorhomes but after 8pm no one else was there and Lighthouse only open at weekends so in all there were 8 of us and a very peaceful night in a stunning location.

Sehr viel los. Auch nachts. Aber ruhig und keine Mücken. Etwas schräg. Schlechter LTE Empfang.

Bei sonnigem Wetter und mäßigem Wind ein toller Übernachtungsplatz an der nördlichsten Spitze des schottischen Festlands. Der Parkplatz am Leuchtturm war mit 6 Mobilen besetzt, wir haben mit zwei weiteren Fahrzeugen kostenfrei auf dem kleinen Parkplatz direkt vor der Einfahrt zum Car Park gestanden. Da nachts keine Autos über den klappernden Viehrost fahren, war die Nacht sehr ruhig.

Alles bereits gesagt. Super Platz für Selbstversorger. Absolut ruhig, wenn die Tagesgäste verschwunden sind.

Nice location, there was 6 other motorhomes with us staying overnight. Cost £10 per night.

Very small and tight car park, not much space to manoeuvre on busy days, but nice views and good walking routes. Can pay as little as £1 for up to 2 hours up to £10 for 24 hours.

It’s beautiful and wild. Birds nesting, the sea crashing on the rocks. Peaceful and a place to get away from the crazy times

Great parking at the Dunnet Head Lighthouse and the northern most point of mainland Britain. A few parking spots dedicated for motorhomes. Cellphone reception good! Really windy when I visited. Did only stay to visit the lighthouse.

Great spot! Fantastic views, very open so a bit blowy but the van held up no problem (I’d be a bit cautious using a pop top)

Stay here! Although there are no facilities, the voluntary fee of £5 was well worth it! Granted there are only 4 slots for campers (we were lucky enough to get the last one) but the absolute stunning scenes you get in return are well worth it!! (Check the last picture)

Top spot. 3-4 Motorhome bays. We went there beginning of April and only 1 other person there. Great views of Orkney, you can see the old man of Hoy. Lots of Puffins too.

What a lovely ParkUp! Accepting of Motorhomes, even ground, Motorhomes are £10.00 at the ticket Machine for 24 hours with lovely clifftop views and a working lighthouse. plenty of passing places up to the top too.

Übernachtung am 15.10.: ordentlicher Parkplatz mit mega Aussicht. Sehr empfehlenswert. Man steht dort in der Nähe von einem Leuchtturm ungeschützt, sehr windig. Kein WC, keine Entsorgung, weit und breit nichts. Kosten: 10 Pfund

Haben hier eine stürmische, aber ruhige Nacht verbracht. Die Sicht ist der Hammer und deswegen bekommt der Spot von mir maximale Sterne.

4 MH bays and 9 MHs parked up! Come on parking like this will see it banned like everywhere else. When there is no space for your MH go and park somewhere else! This place must be terrible in season as this was in October.

Extraordinary place with stunning view. Very quiet so sleeping here was pleasant. Has 4 dedicated parking lots for motorhomes.

Decent place for the night it would prefer e of the free level sights along the way. In summer you might have to get there early to get one. View is spectacular but you’ll be parked side by side with others… waste bins no ther facilities for your 10 gbp fee.

Staan hier nu,heerlijk rustig, af en toe nog n auto die komt kijken bij dit uiterste puntje. We betaalden 5 pond, zag ook niet hoe we 10 konden betalen, straks nog eens goed kijken.

abbiamo parcheggiato nei 4 posti riservati ai motorhome e abbiamo pagato! non ci si può lamentare che i motorhome non sono ben visti e poi quando ci sono i posti riservati non utilizzarli per risparmiare 10 sterline....

u must walk past the light house and along the sheep field the views are amazing!! parked just down the road for the night in one of the little lay-bys. super lush and amazing views. really must leave no trace tho places like these are rare to find

great location with sea view. Instead of going all the way to the lighthouse where you've to pay, there's many spots along the road up to the lighthouse. those are free. we parked just outside the gate to the lighthouse along with 5 other Campers which was free and had the exact same view as the ones that pay.

Great spot stayed free. There is a council sign £10 for 24 hours (no caravans) no return with in 72 hours. Machine was not working so no charge. Great views and 4G signal. Bird life was amazing and the light house at night was beautiful. Nice to sleep and the most northerly point in the UK. Bins but no toilets. Great place to stay. (VW T6 california)

Kostenloses Parken, aber nahezu das gesamte Gelände war nicht öffentlich zugängig. Die Fahrt dorthin hat sich allerdings sehr gelohnt. Waren nur zur Mittagspause hier.

Great little spot but Highland Council do not permit overnight stays. There are a few little pull up spots just down the road. Unfortunately the minority have spoilt it for others. Respect the locals they are trying to preserve the area. We stayed in a dedicated overnight spot just literally 500m from the main car park and its permitted. Beautiful and quiet

Not permitted to stay in the lighthouse (Point J of the detailed sign) so it’s at your own risk. I didn’t chance it as didn’t want to be moved on in the middle of the night. Better spots very nearby with no worry of breaking rules or offending locals.

This was a lovely place to stay. On the sign it says no parking for vehicles that you can sleep in from 10pm until 8am. As we were leaving the car park at 8am a van with a man with a high vis vest turned up. If you are going to stay overnight I suggest you leave before 8am.

Good parking with loads of space. Despite the "no parking in vehicles designed or adjusted to sleep in between 10pm and 8am, us and about 7 other motorhome/Vans stayed the night with no problem.

Excellent views but sign saying no staying 10pm - 8am. Local council rumoured to be enforcing due to COVID.

Great place but council signs went up this morning stating no overnight sleeping due to people disrespecting the area and leaving a mess

Spectacular views and lots to see. Great to sit in the van looking down on the birds soaring around the cliffs! The wind and sweeping lighthouse beam just adds to the atmosphere. Busy during the day, but only a few stayed the night, plenty of room. No charges or restrictions.

Stayed here last night. We were expecting it to be full but on 5 vans and motor homes in total. Very quiet and what a view!

Super endroit, très belle vue, venteux évidemment, mais le point de vue sur les falaises vaut le coup, pratiquement seul au monde !

Sitio espectacular al lado del faro. Parking asfaltado y grande con contenedores. La luz del faro no molesta pero sitio MUY expuesto al viento. Ojo furgonetas techo elevable. Muy tranquilo.

Super Aussicht, ausreichend viel Platz, Stellplätze leicht schräg. Windig. Außer uns waren noch 3-4 andere campervans da.

Nous n'avons pas eu la chance de voir le point de vue cause d'un sacré brouillard. Mais y avons passé une nuit très calme, par contre nous étions bien une dizaine. Spot très prisé.

Awesome viewpoint! Hiking is posssible along to shoreline on top of the cliffs-lots of birds (even puffins) can be seen!! Quite busy tho... seems to be a popular spot for camper vans... usually quite windy up there but as soon as the wind stops midges come...

Beautiful scenic view from the parking space which is quite big. Start of a short walk to see the bird colonies and another one to a 360° viewpoint. Little bit busy during the day, fine for staying the night. During a clear night you will see the milky way.

Très jolie vue sur la mer. Ne pas arriver trop tard en saison car l'endroit est prisé, notamment par les gros camping-cars. Un peu frais même au mois de juin mais pas de midges, c'est l'avantage.

Sitio estupendo, pero atención al viento ! perfect place, but caution whith strong winds !

Très belle vue sur les Orcades. Oiseaux marins dont puffins. Il y a des poubelles.
