Très beau petit camping. malheureusement pour nous le temps était à la pluie et au vent donc nous n’avons pas pu profiter de la balade à proximité. Sanitaire propre, accueil sympa et en bonus la personne parlait français. On a versé un acompte pour bloquer notre place sinon il était complet rapidement. On a payé 35£ pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants de moins de 15 ans

Geweldige camping. Leuke eigenaar en prima ligging voor wandeling naar strand (dinosporen) en de klim naar Old man of Storr.

Un camping parfait et en plus une française à l'accueil très sympathique , nous y étions le 17/7. Ils livres burger / frites fait sur place, génial. On le recommande . Dina

We couldn't make it on time, so we called to change the booking (already paid, we wanted no refund, just to let them know) rude reply and hung up on us. Unprofessional behaviour for a business.

Le camping comme on les aimes, des hotes accueillants, des soirées burgers ou petit dej Ecossais. Ce n'est pas juste uniquement venir poser sa tente et repartir... J'adore !!!

„Normaler“ Campingplatz in einer Mulde gelegen, daher ohne Ausblick aufs Meer, Berge, o.ä. Frühstück und Abendessen werden angeboten, Burger abends sehr lecker. Waschmaschine ist voreingestellt auf 30 Grad bei 28 Minuten, für Baby-/Kinderkleidung leider nicht ausreichend!

Platz war noch ziemlich leer, trotzdem stand ein Schild dort, dass der Platz voll wäre. Auf die Frage hin, ob wir Wasser auffüllen könnten (hätten wir selbstverständlich auch bezahlt) wurde mit „Nein nur für unsere Campingplatz Nutzer“ geantwortet.. ziemlich unflexibel muss ich sagen, da es auf Skye nicht all zu viele Plätze gibt an denen man entleeren und füllen kann und das wissen die Betreiber

Kleine camping. Alles prima in orde. Vriendelijke mensen. Uitzicht op de Trotternish. Fantastisch. In hoogseizoen rekening houden dat het wel eens volgeboekt kan zijn.

Vergeet niet om vooraf te reserveren! We kwamen aan en er waren nog 6 plekken vrij, maar deze waren allemaal gereserveerd! We hebben dus door moeten rijden...

Ich habe telefonisch kurzfristig einen Platz bekommen. Der Platz ist völlig in Ordnung. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und haben uns auch weitergeholfen.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans ce camping, en van. Camping très bien avec douches et toilettes très correctes.

A very warm welcome, friendly staff/owners. Clean, well maintained, lovely views, quiet and peaceful. Nice pitches. Lovely hot showers, free. All usual facilities available. Takeaway food most days evening until 8p and breakfast. We had burgers and chips, very reasonable price and tasty. Great location for the Quiraing. Would stay again.

Wat een heerlijke plek om te verblijven. Goede plekken, net sanitair. Was volledig vol toen wij er stonden. We komen heel graag terug.

Camping très sympa! Service propre, places très pratique, possibilité de réserver des Burger ou Fish and chips. On peut vider les eaux grises.

Un vrai coup de cœur. Personnel très sympa, situé idéalement sur l'île, très propre et repas proposé le soir et au petit déjeuner à des prix abordables. Top !!

Emplacements nivelés et bien délimités. Sanitaires propres. Gérants sympathiques (la dame est française, cela a facilité les échanges). Accès intégré à la plage aux traces de dinosaures (prévoir 20 minutes à pieds avec de bonnes chaussures imperméables et cramponnées).

De camping was vol, maar tegen betaling mochten wij van de vriendelijke man voor 3 £ water vullen, legen en ons toilet legen. Heel fijn!

Great site. Large places, very friendly owners, all amenities present and clean. Super quiet at night. Possibility to order food. Stunning views once you take the walk to the beach. We went fossil hunting with our kids (ca 30 min) and found 10 dinotracks! Highly recommended.

Top Campground. Kamen ohne Reservierung & wurden freundlich empfangen. Strom & Wasser inkl. San. Anlagen sauber und gepflegt, allerdings sehr klein (für Anzahl Stellplätze). Takeaway-„Restaurant“ (mit Platzlieferung) war tiptop (Burger & Pommes). Würden wieder kommen.

Lugar tranquilo y bonito, personal agradable, baños limpios y correctos. Posibilidad de hacer excursión desde el camping a la playa para ver las huellas de dinosaurios.

Mooie terrascamping die al ruim 50 jaar door de zelfde familie wordt gerund. Met vele ruime camperplekken. Met of zonder elektriciteit. Wij stonden op plaats 65. Sanitaire voorzieningen zijn goed. Ook voor wassen en drogen is alles aanwezig. Een aanrader.

Super camping, sanitaire propre. Il y a un stand de restauration burger et Breakfast. Une ballade à faire juste au dessus pour profité de la vue. Le gérant est très sympathique

Could not recommend this site more! When I turned up at 3pm all the motor home pitches were booked up, the receptionist was a lovely lady who let me park my tiny camper on a tent pitch for the night - the showers are hot and to die for, burgers served for dinner, the walk to the Dinosaur Beach is easy enough and the site is beautiful. One of the best stays I’ve had in my 2 weeks in Scotland!

Schöner Campingplatz, super Lage, saubere sanitäre Anlagen. Tolles Extra ist der Dinner- und Breakfastservice des Campingplatzes - wir haben das Abendessen bestellt, anschliessend wurde es sogar vom Personal zum Camper gebracht!

Nice and well run campsite, clean facilities, hot showers with good pressure. Paid £30 for 2 with electric, laundry is £4 plus drier £1/20 mins. Beautiful coastal walk right from the site.

Herzliche Versorgung für wenig Geld (Frühstück&Abendessen), ruhig und schöne Umgebung

Very nice owners, they provide food and breakfast for a small price, which is very convenient. You might get woken up by a sheep but it's not bothersome! The facilities are a bit aged but still good. Nice place overall.

Super Lage für Wanderungen, nettes Personal, morgens kleines Frühstücksangebot ( Kaffee, Egg Roll etc., sehr empfehlen!), gute Sanitäranlagen (heiße Wasser) - alles in allem eine kleiner schöner Campingplatz, würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

sauberer gepflegter und übersichtlicher Platz. Alles da was man braucht. Duschen, Waschmaschine mit trockner und WLAN. Morgens kann man sich an der Rezeption Kaffee und bagels holen.

Very friendly manager. Large pitches. Dog friendly. Sanitary facilities might look a little old but very clean. Possibility to get breakfast or a decent meal at a fair price next to the reception ( choice of 4 courses).

Ein wunderbare Platz, sehr freundlicher Empfang. Abends wurde für die Gäste gekocht und das leckere Essen wurde uns sogar zum Camper gebracht. Waschräume sind top; alles äußerst entspannt und unkompliziert.

Bon camping, bien situé, proche de plusieurs sites intéressants. £24 la nuit sans électricité, £30 avec électricité . Toujours complet, pensez à réserver 2 à 3 jours avant.

Wir sind spontan hergefahren und haben für 24£ einen Stellplatz für ein Womo, 2 Erwachsene und 2 Hunde bekommen. Sehr freundlich und am Abend wurde frisch gekocht. Ich weiß jedoch nicht ob es immer angeboten wird. Man kann über einen Wanderpfad zum Meer gehen und wohl Dinospuren besichtigen. Uns gefällt es hier sehr gut.

Bij aankomst werd gezegd dat er geen plek was en waarschijnlijk op geen camping. Totdat de dame van de receptie erachter kwam dat we een daktent hebben en geen stroom nodig hadden. We konden we kiezen uit twee plekken op het gras. Een half uur later kwam er een busje die ook geen stroom nodig had en die werd weggestuurd. De plek naast ons bleef leeg evenals een groot grasveld. Heel raar!!

What a tranquil setting. Set in a small hollow sheltered from the coastal breeze. £30pn incl EHU with good free WiFi. Agree with all other positive comments. Campers bothy very welcome.

Accueil très sympathique. Camping rénové, à l'écart de la route, avec toutes les installations en bon état et très bien entretenues. Petite restauration à emporter, excellente. 12 pounds par personne sans électricité. À recommander !

Nice and clean campsite with friendly owners and staff. Advised us on possible trips nearby. Allowed us to change places as the weather became worse (we then occupied a more expensive spot with electricity). Nice camping kitchen.

Very well kept, nice flat pitch. Wi-Fi didn’t reach us to our pitch. Laundry cost us £5 for 1 load(washing and dryer), reception offered change on check in. Big bonus for us- there’s a fenced in field which we let our dog off lead in (she is not used to sheep). Good stop to fill van with water and empty chemical loo. No views but access to staffin beach which is gorgeous (around 30 mins each way)

Schöner ruhiger Campingplatz. Duschen und Klo sind nicht modern, aber erfüllen ihren Zweck. Es gibt heißes Wasser und die Dusche kostet nichts. Sanitäranlagen sind sauber. Es hat eine kleine Waschmaschine und einen kleinen Trockner. Dafür muss man aber extra zahlen. Besitzer sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir sind Abends ohne Reservierung angereist. Es hatte noch viele Plätze frei.

Un camping perfecto para descansar. Nosotras vinimos en furgoneta y hay parcelas amplias y muy tranquilo. Los servicios limpios, ducha amplia y secador lavadora...perfecto!! un poco caro, pero merece la pena.

All amenities electricity, water, washer and dryer, showers, hairdryer!!!, Kitchen with basic supplies, free wifi, grey water and waste disposal The lots are very spacious and flat, the campsite is peaceful The owner is very friendly, he gave us a lot of tips to plan our trip ahead. 100% recommended, best campsite for Quiraing/Kilt Rock/Leat Falls!

Schöner kleiner Campingplatz. Ruhig und saubere Räumlichkeiten. Wir haben für 2 Erwachsene mit Camper und Stromanschluss 28 Pfund bezahlt. Frischwasser, WLAN und Entleerung war inklusive. Der Standort ist super. Leider gibt es keine schöne Aussicht und auch Midges. Lasst euch nicht von dem “Campingplatz is voll” Schild abbringen-wir sind durchgefahren und haben noch einen Platz bekommen.

Alles gut. Schöner kleiner Campingplatz mit allem was man braucht. Ver- und Entsorgung gut möglich. Schöne Stellplätze.

Très mauvais temps donc pas pu profiter du site et machine à laver et sèche linge de très petite capacité. 1£20 et compter une heure pour une lessive, idem pour sécher. Si pas urgent il vaut mieux attendre le prochain camping pour la lessive. Douches bien chaudes et continues même si vétustes.

Très bon camping avec du personnel accueillant et qui fait le maximum pour que vous compreniez. Accès rapide à pied vers la plage et très belle ballade. Toutes les commodité sont présentes et c’est propre. Très bien pour 32 pound de par nuit pour 4. Seul hic le lave linge et le sèche linge sont domestiques donc peu efficaces. 1 pound pour 20 minutes

Très agréable accueil. Sanitaires bien conçus et propres. Petit plus agréable : accès gratuit à une bouilloire, un micro ondes et une télévision dans le bloc commun pour faire la vaisselle. 2 nuits sympathiques dans ce camping

Nice little camp site. Staff helpful. Facilities extremely dated. Toilet block can be a litte walk away depending on where you get put.

Lovely place. Dog friendly (no extra charge). The best shower I’ve had in a long time, no button pressing just continuous high pressure hot water. Site has free wi-fi which we didn’t use. Good signal on EE.

Sehr gute Campsite, alles vorhanden was man braucht. Sehr sauber, warme Dusche ohne Duschmarke, Waschmaschine & Trockner (Waschen bei uns 3£ & man kann die Wäsche raushängen), Frischwasser, Grauwasser & Chemietoilettenentleerung. 24£ ohne Strom, 28£ mit Strom. Nur Duschen oder Service ist nicht möglich.

la señora que gestiona el camping es agradable y correcta. Pero no me gustó que sabiendo que no hay ningún servicio de vaciado y cambio de aguas en muchos km, noquiera ofrecer solo este servicio. Si no duermes en el camping no tienes agua. Nos ofrecimos a pagar por el servicio pero ni así quiso. En Portree Campsite (en la misma isla) nos dio todos los servicios por solo 3£.

Nice campsite up north on Skye. The weather seems to be always better here in Staffin as i.ex. at the parking for the "old man" (20min away). Enjoy the path at the back heading to the beach/ dinosaur foorprints with great views. Everything was good, would recomend.

Franchement très bien, les emplacements sont suffisants, les sanitaires sont propres,pas de vue mer mais sur les moutons nous sommes en ecosse que diable! Personne de l’accueil souriante. Concernant le prix pour avoir fait le tour de quelques camping (nous sommes en van et autonome d’électricité) c’est dans la moyenne.

Don't understand the people saying the man was unfriendly. We were there at the Queens Jubilee, he handed out cups with Whiskey. Very friendly man, little small talk and what not. We showed up without booking and were lucky someone canceled just 10 min before us. Pre-book to be sure! £7 about for one wash and dry. would def return!

We were told that the campsite is full, so we asked if we can use the shower and he said NO…. we left the place disappointed! Plus The man at the reception wasn’t friendly

Installations OK mais camping un peu cher. Très bien placé en revanche.

Camping simple, pas énormément d’emplacements. Je pense qu’il vaut mieux réserver en pleine saison. La gérante est très accueillante et bienveillante.

Great trip to Skye, lucky to find this site still had Campervan pitches available as all others were fully booked, got a great pitch with electric hook-up for a reasonable price, staff were excellent, good facilities / clean and tidy toilet block and showers, handy microwave/kettle/toaster in the Bothy, free wi-fi. A great base for exploring the North of the island.

Don't get the bad reviews. The owners are the loveliest of people. It's a simple site but pleasant views and quiet at night. Hot showers. We were allowed to park on the day of departure for longer than check out when I asked. Queue for a washing machine was the only downside.

Stayed here a few days ago. Gentleman on the reception was welcoming. Campsite was nice but facilities could do with an update. Showers/toilets didn’t feel the cleanest. No phone or tv signal.

Only called in to ask to fill motorhome with water and said they dont provide that service

Lovely camp site with lots of facilities to use. Had no problems like the other comments on here. The owners were very helpful when we needed something. Paid £25.50 for two adults campervan with electric which was fair enough. Would definitely stay again.

A very clean well organised site lots of flat pitches. stayed one night 10/10/21. very pleasant and helpful staff. showers slightly dated but clean and tidy. very good shower though one of the best I've had in last 6 weeks. Good laundry system that actually works. very switched on with covid which is a food thing and if you follow the rules the staff are fine. I would recommend.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich u hilfsbereit empfangen. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Sogar Waschmaschine konnte trotz Corona genutzt werden. Wer den Blick aufs Meer sucht ist hier falsch, wir haben uns hier trotzdem sehr wohl gefühlt.

Would recomend, very clean and quiet location. Had all facilities including delivery by owners from fish and chip shop Site only gave facilities to us who were staying, not for drop in units looking for water or chemical elson, site was really clean with owner always out cleaning and spraying with cleaner - best chemical toilet I've seen :-)

Stayed with motorhome for 3 nights. Site was excellent - no issues for us. Owners were really helpful. Very safe site, beautifully kept. Good spacing coz of Covid between pitches. Excellent base and stop over. The owner wasnt doing tents this year. Walked to the dinosaur footprint nearby

First night was fine, warden was nice and helpful. Night 2 arrived back on site with motorhome and met by a confrontational lady shaking her fists at us. We were met with a barrel of abuse about how we had driven the wrong why around the site (no signs showing this was the wrong way). We apologised and she continued to huff and puff, and when I tried to speak she held her hand up in my face to stop me speaking. This was all while my baby was crying in the van. When I said it was rude to put your hand up in someone’s face, she said “you can leave if you want”. We would have left as I was upset, however the baby had had enough of car journeys and I knew all nearby sites were booked up. Perhaps you why this was the only site in Skye with spaces available, I have since looked at other reviews and realised others have had similar experience with “aggressive” owner. I should have read the reviews before booking. Definitely put a downer on the trip. Site was fine but makes all the difference attitudes of staff/owner (not quite sure which she was).

!!!!!!!!Awful!!!!!!experience with very unpleasant and rude owner. Such an unhelpful person. Arrived on the site with two small children, when site was closed to only ask for water for our camper since it broke down. Offering to pay for water. This rude owner refused to help even when we had our own hose and we wouldn’t cause any trouble to him. Such a shame that he put it up a big sign “Thank You NHS” but he refused to provide basic needs- water to family of two small children and NHS nurse. SHAME!!!!!!!!!

Camping funcional con todos los servicios. Baños antiguos pero limpios. La zona de comidas y microondas estaba sucia y dejada. la atención del personal muy amable y dispuesto.

Toller Campingplatz mit allem was man benötigt. Die sehr netten Betreiber wohnen selbst in einem kleinen Haus auf dem Campingplatz und waren sehr unkompliziert. Hunde sind willkommen und direkt vom Platz führt ein Weg zum Strand, der sich gut zum Gassi gehen eignet. Wir haben für ein Wohnmobil und 2 Erwachsene 23£ gezahlt. WLAN ist vorhanden, kostet aber pro Tag 5£ extra.
