lovely spot to stop, plenty of nice walks, and a lovely view The only downfall was an abundance of 'boy racer' types driving in and out of the car park, woth loud vehicles and loud music

Parked up here this afternoon and had a visit from the ranger asking if I was intending to stay the night as it is not allowed.

  • 4/5

Arrived at 8pm to quite a busy car park, so parked just up the road from here. Plenty of opportunities for a stop over around here.

  • 4/5

There’s actually around 20 car park spaces too

  • 4/5

Beautiful spot. There is signs saying no overnight camping but the warden didn’t come round until 9am and had a friendly chat with us when he did. A few cars in but they kept their music low, didn’t Rev their engines and kept themselves to themselves.

No longer allowed to stay overnight, got a visit from National Park officer to ask not to stay overnight and that dogs are not allowed off the lead during nesting season.

  • 1/5

New no camping or motorhomes signs.

  • 3/5

Stayed here a few times now but such a shame how overcrowded and dirty it is now. Stayed early March and 6 motorhomes, 2 cars full of loud youths spinning around at 11pm and rubbish everywhere in the morning. Car park full by 10am. Maybe put some bins up here, absolute mess. Such a shame people can't respect nature. Will probably try to find somewhere else next time.

Spent a night here in the early summer and it was nice and quiet, just one other van. Busy with dog walkers during the day. Lovely view - when the cloud lifted! No facilities. Lots of ponies!

This is a beautiful spot next to Keepers Pond. Wonderful views. Lovely walk around the pond and also across the health you can get to Blorange, although you can park closer. We have stayed once with no problems. We also visited in Easter but there were a group of people who appeared to be there for the duration doing drugs so we decided to move on for the overnight stay, which was a shame because it’s such a wonderful spot, no facilities but expect to wake up surrounded by sheep!

2 nuits sur ce super spot au bord du lac et en pleine nature. Première soirée avec les moutons et premier réveil par les chevaux sauvages qui rentrent leur tête dans la voiture. Baignade dans le lac (assez froid).

Like a piece of paradise especially in the sunshine. Busy on the bank holiday in the daytime but that's to be expected. Quiet at night, few other vans and a great view to wake up to.

  • 4/5

Très bien. Nous n'étions que 2 camping-cars sous le soleil. A part ça, parking pas mal fréquenté pour des départs de balades.

  • 5/5

Nice quiet spot couple of other vans joined us lovely views in the morning

  • 5/5

Lovely place to stop. Beautiful views.

  • 5/5

Spent two nights here lovely location was accompanied by wild horses on the second night hanging around for two hrs once they gone we was then surrounded by sheep ba ba ba all night

  • 4/5

Excellent quiet spot overnight with one other van. Very busy in the morning with dogwalkers but still plenty of room. Highly recommended

  • 5/5

Great parking spot, quiet, we were 5 campers on a Saturday night. Was very windy and reasonably exposed location (weather dependant of course). Two nice walks from here- 7miles/5miles respectively.

  • 5/5

Excellent spot, very quiet. Popular for walkers, so busy in day. Very quiet night and good views. Tip don't venture down the lane opposite! Very tight

  • 4/5

    Good spot, but busy.

  • 5/5

Loved this place. Stayed two night, really beautiful

  • 5/5

Fantastic overnight stop, only joined by other campers. The walks around the pound are brilliant. Leave early in the morning as it gets busy early.

  • 4/5

    This is the keepers pond

Stayed on a Thursday at the end of April and it was spot on, last car went about 10pm so had the whole car park to myself, lovely views and nice walks

  • 4/5

Great place, view is amazing and walks around refreshing but yes it’s a busy place on the week end for people to party...

  • 3/5

Great place to spend the night. Nice views and walks, even muttons walking around. Unfortunately the local youth kept us awake till 1am. In the morning the parkinglot was full of waste left behind by nigthly visitors. Mabye the weekend isn't the best time to spend here. What a waste for such a lovely place..

  • 5/5

Best place to stay overnight ever!! gigantic view and perfect point to start a walk the next day.

  • 5/5

Bonne couverture 4G !!

  • 3/5

Free, no facilities but fantastic views & walks

  • 3/5

Dommage que les alentours soient aussi sales. Des moutons viennent quémander de la nourriture comme à la maison.

  • 4/5

Arrêt très sympathique avec ce petit étang et une belle vue sur les monts au loin couverts de bruyère
