Flat quiet spot just us and another camper the night we stayed there. Very little traffic went past. It is fairly exposed so was a little bit windy but did the trick for the night. Only 15 minutes or so outside of Malham village where there’s a number of public toilets. Good place to stay if you’re looking to get to the Cove before the rush at weekends.

Beautiful views and very quiet, the odd passing car but rarely. We had someone pull up next to us for the night but enough room for 2-3. A shame that someone before us had left cans and rubbish next to the site :( watch out for the mud if it has been raining- big puddles and the dog was covered from the boggy moors!

Amazing spot! Caught a beautiful sunset here and it was so peaceful. Hardly any traffic but it’s very exposed so it was very windy at night. Worth it for the views!

  • 5/5

I stopped here for a couple of hours during the day - I can see this would be great overnight spot as off the the road and great 360 views - no restrictions.

  • 5/5

What a spot! It feels like the middle of nowhere with amazing views all around. I was up there in July and surprisingly the only one there. As previously mentioned, it is very exposed, I wouldn't stay there when the weather is rough.

  • 5/5

Cow poo all over so be careful when you step out of the van ;) Terrain not very even but you can find some flat bits. Amazing views, especially at sunset/sunrise. No one bothered, apart from the cows scratching against the corners of the van at 6:30am - they only left one very tiny minor scratch. Windows licking included!

stayed here last night, it's a beautiful spot and has some amazing views BUT there is highland cows. The cows are NOT dangerous, they are extremely calm, friendly and annoyingly curious. Last night at about 1.30am we did have one or two come up and have a good scratch against the corner of the van (they like the hinges). the two other vans that were here left, but we stayed.

Stayed here a few times now. Always beautiful and quiet.

  • 3/5

The highland cows were very friendly from 3am to sunrise, using the van as a scratching post and their big horns knocking on the windows. Great spot but avoid if you’re precious about your van!

  • 5/5

Great views and good 4G on O2

  • 5/5

Stayed last night beautiful, peaceful park up fantastic views all around.

  • 4/5

Nice park up with good views and 4G on EE. Ruined by the leftover toilet paper/wrappers from I assume other campers - leave no trace!! :(

  • 4/5

Nice quiet park up with good views and walks.

  • 5/5

Very nice spot, as said in other comments as it is on top of the hills it is exposed to the wind. Even if the van was shaking a bit I slept very well. No traffic at night and good 4g signal

  • 5/5

Great place for an overnight stop. Very little traffic but very windy on the night we stayed. woke up to bird song and fantastic views!

Sehr idyllisch.

  • 5/5

Pleasant spot, very open with light traffic open to the elements

  • 5/5

Wow. Man steht hier sehr idyllisch.

Ideal spot for the night. space for a couple of vans. Fairly remote and dark at night away from homes and businesses. Some road noise until about 10/11pm. Highland Cows are roaming free in the fields and across the road. Local to several places to visit. Plenty of wildlife to see and public footpaths to walk. The views at sunrise and sunset were amazing.

  • 5/5

beautiful views and lovely highland cows to share them with!

  • 5/5

Flat parking. Room for several vans. Great views. Spent a Saturday evening here last month, nice and quiet.

  • 5/5

Stayed here last Saturday. Lovely spot away from any properties and so amazingly dark at night. we arrived and took the last space there was 2 other campers and a car there over night so I'd say up to 4 vehicles Campers did arrive looking to Park here late at night but soon drover off as there was n't room. reccomend for a one night stop off.

Amazing view, nice even car park suitable for all sizes. Narrow hilly lane coming from Settle, not sure the faint hearted. 2 miles from the pub and 4g signal.

  • 5/5

Great little spot for the night. There were three vans here very quiet with fantastic views.

  • 5/5

Quiet spot with minimal traffic. Lush views. Good O2 4G signal. One other van camped up. Close proximity to get to Malham Cove early. The only downside was a lot of flies and horse flies but it was a mega hot and windless night.

  • 5/5

Lovely spot with incredible views and was so quiet overnight. had a gorgeous early morning walk :)

  • 5/5

Arrived and there was 4 highland cows wandering around. The spot is gravel and uneven but is ok for the night. Beautiful views by the road but not much traffic. Would return here again :-)

  • 5/5

Great location. Views are stunning especially the Highland coos! A few cars turn up to take in the view but we were on our own from about 7pm onwards. Very quiet night. Good but variable 4g service.

  • 5/5

An absolute one of a kind stay! I’m obsessed with highland cows, and the fact we arrived late evening and they were all there waiting at the exact spot was so special. If you’re looking for a sleepover with some gorgeous and friendly cows, this is the spot

Only Stopped In for a short while but looks a nice secluded spot off the road and level

  • 4/5

A little uneven but very quiet over a Saturday night; only us and one other campervan. only two cars in the morning before 9am. Good 4G signal.

  • 5/5

Fabulous night, very quiet and peaceful, another 2 vans stayed the night, no bother

Flat quiet spot just us and another camper the night we stayed there. Very little traffic went past. It is fairly exposed so was a little bit windy but did the trick for the night. Only 15 minutes or so down the road from Malham village where there’s toilets.

Lovely area, nice and secluded. However after being parked here for about 2 hours a police officer came and said a local had reported us and we had to leave. Also at one point a group of lads in three separate vehicles came, not knowing we were inside and were talking about ‘taking it and seeing what was inside’. I wouldn’t recommend as I definitely wouldn’t feel comfortable leaving my van unattended and what’s the point of going to such a beautiful place if you can’t enjoy it ?

  • 5/5

Stunning views and decent little spot to park up for a night or two lots of wild life just walking around drove 2 hours to visit this place well worth the trip out no services

  • 2/5

Wouldn’t really recommend, there is a spot 5 minutes away from here that is much better and much quieter. This place has the views and the cows but the parking is super uneven, it has no wind coverage and the noise from the road is terrible.

  • 4/5

We stayed here and had no problems! Next to a road and high up so quite windy but perfect for a night. We also had internet which was a bonus!

  • 5/5

Added a couple of pics, we stayed her for a little pit stop, less than 30 mins. Amazing scenery and some very friendly highland cows!

  • 5/5

Superbe vue, merci.

  • 3/5

No facilities! Take your own supplies. Beautiful and quiet spot
