Under the coast road, and heading to Jesmond dene pets corner. there quite a few free parking spaces. Jesmond dene is very pretty, but the actual parking is just average. useful be under a road as you don't have to worry about rain or wind.

It is fine for one night. Personal trainer turned up at about 830 but wasn’t too disruptive. Was quiet overnight and felt safe

Stayed two nights here. It’s sheltered with only a few passers by. There is road noise overhead and a stream below so it’s not the quietest but it feels relatively safe. There’s an excellent farmers market every other Saturday on the bridge overhead, some good food shops within walking distance and beautiful walks in the Dene (woodlands and parks). No services here but not a problem for us.

Stayed here for 2 days and 2 nights. Parking meters are £0.50/hour 8:30am - 6:30pm. LWB fits fine if not busy. Doesn't get too busy either BUT Be aware that recently, lots of personal trainers have been bringing clients down here at various hours of the day, blasting their club anthems, shouting out exercises and being generally very loud. Being woken up by these groups at 6:00am is no fun.

Stayed here no problem, parking metres now but i arrived and left before the times where you have to pay. Nice and quiet. Also the bridge shelters you from the rain if you don’t like the sound of it on the van. If it was relatively full it would be hard to park a LWB but there’s rarely more than a car or two if that
