Roadside area to park a few vehicles. Access by road up to Kleivstua from Sundvollen. Great view of the Tyrifjord. Paragliding takeoff spot on the other side of the road. Nice hikes at the end of the road in the car park of the Kleivstua hotel

What a beautiful place!! Loved staying here for the night, with beautiful views. Absolutely recommend it.

Goed voor 1 nacht. Prachtig uitzicht! Echt de moeite waard om te zien, vooral bij zonsondergang. Redelijk vlakke parkeerhaven met ruimte voor 4 camper bussen. Let wel, het is een populaire plek onder vakantiegangers en locals. En terecht, want het is een fenomenale panorama. Klein kampvuur plek aanwezig.

Toller Ausblick. Wir standen dort mit zwei weiteren Wohnmobilen und wurden am Morgen vom Glockengeläut der Schafe geweckt. Am Abend reisten einige Touristen an, um die Aussicht zu genießen.

Super schöne Aussicht. Perfekt für eine Nacht. Leider kamen ein paar Jugendliche, die für eine halbe Stunde ihren Subwoofer präsentieren mussten. Sonst war alles top.

Unglaubliche Aussicht! Zufahrt einfach, mit schönen Möglichkeiten zum Wandern. Hat viele Leute, die bis nach dem Sonnenuntergang noch die Aussicht geniessen, drum nur vier Sterne. In der Nacht waren wir aber alleine.

Magnifique vue ! Au bord d'une route mais très calme la nuit. Le parking peut accueillir 5 camping-cars. Relativement plat, gravillonné. Nous n'avons rien payé car personne dans le petit kiosque à l'entrée où est censée être une barrière. Aucun service. Nous recommandons.

Eigentlich ein schöner Platz mit schöner Aussicht. Leider nicht ruhig weil viele Menschen den Platz als Aussichtspunkt anfahren.

Schön ruhig (wenn die letzten Fotografen zu Auto, Fahrrad, Moped oder auch zu Pferd abgezogen sind), die Aussicht ist wirklich toll. Bei uns war es auch nicht überlaufen, wir standen hier mit noch einem Wohnmobil. Ist halt trotz allem direkt neben der Straße, das Navi würde einen auf einem sehr abenteuerlichen Weg hierher leiten (zum Glück gibt es hilfsbereite Anwohner). Und es wäre toll, wenn jeder der hier parkt oder steht seinen Müll und seine Kippen wieder mitnehmen würde!!

Beautiful spot for the night and enough space for kids/ animals to play safe. Possibility of walks. It’s free to park but have to pay NOK30 for the road access. We were at the end of August and there were 3 vans for the night plus several cars came and left just for the views. It’ll be quite busy during summer months

Ok, Aussicht hat der, der den ersten Platz hat, sonst ist alles zugewachsen. Ansonsten ist es halt eine Parkbucht. Die Parkbucht hat nur 1-2 Sterne verdient. Durch die Aussicht und dass hier sonst nicht viel zu finden ist - 3 Sterne. Zufahrt ist einfach.

Zona para aparcar junto a un mirador con bonitas vistas. Merece la pena pagar las 30kr que cuesta subir. Noche muy tranquila.

Beautiful view! Very calm during night. 6 other motorhomes/vans/cars when we were there. Need to pay a toll of 30 nok when going up, but totally worth it.

Toller Stellplatz in der Natur mit einem traumhaften Ausblick auf den Fjord! Die Zufahrt war für unser Womo (7,50m, 4,4to) mit teilweise 10% Steigung fordernd aber machbar. Der Ausblick hat für alles entschädigt. Standen insgesamt mit 5 Womo's sehr ruhig über Nacht.

Awesome view from this spot. Very few cars passing at night so it’s peaceful to sleep. Road isn’t too steep either.

Beautiful camping spot! There is a toll on the road to go up now 30kr which is so worth it for the view! Think there was us and 2 other vans that camped last night in the middle of August so very peaceful. Only thing we did wake up to find the whole place covered in cloud so careful driving up and down if the conditions are foggy.

Great view and quiet enough, although a couple of cars and motorbikes came up quite late and parked next to us for a while. Presumably to enjoy the view. Don't be tempted to drive the road and out the other end... there's a barrier across it and you can't get out. Presumably it warns you somewhere in Norwegian!

Sehr schöner Blick über den Fjord. Ab und zu halten Leute und genießen die Aussicht. Nebenan ist eine Rampe für Paraglider. Auf dem Weg muss man 30 NOK Maut bezahlen.

Very calm, big place to stay overnight. To reach it, you'll have to use a toll road (only 30kr). Nice view over Tyrifjorden.

Beau point de vue depuis le départ de parapente. Très fréquenté au moment du coucher de soleil et du passage jusqu'à tard dans la nuit. L'accès à cette route semble normalement payante

A beautiful place to stay for a night or two. There is a 30 NOK toll on the way up the hill from the town. Don't let your sat. Nav. Take you on a 'short cut' through the housing estate near the bottom of the hill. There are toilets 60 metres further up the hill. Lovely walks and paragliding from the site.
