Rustique mais permet de passer la nuit. Pas mal de midges le soir mais on a échappé à leurs piqûres. Belles vues. A savoir: un représentant du Highland council est passé vers 8h30 le matin. Pour nous dire qu’on pouvait stationner en camper van. Mais pas sur les abords en herbe. Il nous a remis une notice dont je mettrai une photo en pièce jointe. Au final, cela signifie qu’on ne peut stationner qu’à deux ou trois si on reste sur les parties goudronnées. Pas mal de vans et fourgons sur ce type de places, en ce mois de juillet 2023.

Stayed overnight, small area for about 3 -4 vans. It was raining during our stay and the ground did become very muddy. This park is close to the local pub a short drive for a nice meal. The ranger came around about 9am to discuss camping rules whilst on Skye, very pleasant, no concerns.

Mooie rustige plaats om te overnachten. Stonden met nog 2 vans dus op tijd komen is de boodschap. Is wel dicht tegen de hoofdweg doch heb je er weinig last van. De midgets waren er ook dus insmeren .

Super Platz, da etwas versteckt neben der Straße. Aber der allerschlimmste Platz wegen den Midges. Abends und Morgens, keine Chance zum hinausgehen.

Guter Platz für eine Nacht, etwas versteckt vor der Strasse und der Strassenlärm hat sich nachts in Grenzen gehalten. Allerdings war das hinsichtlich der midges sobald sich der Wind legte der schlimmste Platz den wir in 10 Tagen hatten (waren hier am 03./04.06.2023).

Für eine Nacht super! Ruhige Lage, da man von der Straße durch einen Wall abgeschirmt ist. Platz für 4-5 Vans/ Autos, ggf. muss man früh da sein, da die Plätze beliebt sind. Aussicht ist toll, solange keine Midges da sind (bei uns waren es leider sehr viele).

En soi l’endroit est correct (quelques midges), mais un ranger très sympa est venu nous indiquer que le camping était normalement interdit ici. Il nous a aussi demandé de ne pas nous garer sur l’herbe.

Beaucoup de midges en absence de vent. Terrain plat. Un peu de boue mais possible de se garer même si pas trop de place. Joli paysage.

Cracking little spot for one night. Was joined by one camper. The entrance is a bit tight for longer MHs. No issue with MIDGES "as" you don't get mosquitoes in Scotland.

Vue très belle sur les montagnes ! Mais la route est proche et le bruit présent tard le soir et tôt le lendemain. De plus, les moustiques sont très présents et s'infiltrent dans le van même a travers les moustiquaires ! Nous déconseillons d'y passer la nuit.

Perfect for the night great views of the Culins just of the A863. We were stuck in traffic for a couple of hours due to an accident and arrived late struggled to find anything available further south

Belle vue sur les Cuillins. Endroit un peu en retrait, très bien pour passer la nuit.

Good view on the Cuillin mountains, but the road is pretty noisy compared to other spots. I would rather consider it at a back up spot because of the noise of the passing cars

En retrait de la route , il y a des tas de gravier pour un chantier sur le devant ce qui coupe les bruits de la route . Pas bcp de passage pour nous ce soir parfait , stable et peu de vent. La vue donne sur les montagnes juste trop beau

Would be ok in dry conditions. Currently very wet and muddy so only room for one camper. Good 4G. No other services. Busy road.

Beautiful views and stunning sunset on the mountains. Road quiet at night, but in the morning quite busy already. Place for 2/3 campervans and good cell reception/4G.

Superbe vue sur les Cuillin Hills, en revanche faite attention au midges ! Espace assez grand pour accueillir 4 véhicules. L’entrée ce fait sur la droite de la route, c’est assez discret, attention à ne pas la louper. On est protégé par une petite bute ce qui atténue le bruit de la route, la route est passante mais la nuit pas un bruit.

Really enjoyed this spot. Nicely set back from the road so it is quiet and also has a bank that provides privacy. Fantastic views and a lovely sunset behind the mountain.Space for two campervans/motorhomes but we had the night to ourselves!

great place, but was very windy when we were here. Minor traffic at night

The spot is nice, enough space for 2 small camper. A bit muddy on the edge and a lot of midges. I had a little bit of 3 mobile signal, but not that good.

Wir sind gerade hier (Juni 22) und der Platz ist echt schön. (Bisschen schlammig bei Regen). Bei gutem Wetter ein wunderschöner Blick auf die Berge. Laufen mit dem Hund ist schwierig, weil es keine Wege gibt und die meisten Felder eingezäunt sind. Außerdem lag im Busch nebenan ein verwesendes Tier. Der Duft kam ständig rüber. Das war etwas unangenehm. Aber sonst top :D

Stayed here 29 05 2022. Flat area through a gap in an embankment, which helps shield you from road noise. The road is reasonably quiet anyway so no real noise issues. Nice flat area of grass, but also a large enough gravel area for 2 vans, one either end. Previous visitors had obviously had issues with a muddy section. But if you stay on the gravel there's no problem. Great views. No midges.

I think the best of the spots in the area. Flat and quite level. Extraordinary view. I was here on a beautiful sunny day in May. Perfect. Car noise was fairly minimal. There's a small hill that blocks some of the sound and the traffic is low. The area is muddy. I can see where other campers wrecked up the ground. No midgets when I was here. Windy, but not bad.

We arrived at 11pm and got up at 7am. No road noise between those hours. Nice little spot on the side of the road behind some bank making it feel a bit secluded. Nice view of a nice field, woods and mountains

Tiny and muddy. Avoid unless desperate. Carry on up the road a few more miles for some proper parking.

From 10pm to 6am is quiet,other time there is noise of cars, this place only if you are desperate and tired to find better spot.

Flat spot just off the road, secluded behind a big mound. Space for 2 campervans, good pitching space for tent. Incredible mountain views. Windy the day we stayed so very few midges. Definitely recommend. 4G on Vodafone, 3G on 3.

Pretty close to the main road but there is an earth mound that shields a bit and road quiet after 9. The Midgies were horrendous!

Fabulous place for a good nights sleep before a hike the following morning. Nice view of the mountains and no noice from the road.

Great secluded spot just off the road but not over looked. The entrance is tight and if you blink you'll miss it but once in its a very safe place with lovely views. It was highly windy on the night we spent here so we didn't sleep well and I can't account for road noise because of the howling wind. I would stay here again.

Was a nice place with a really nice view, midges let it down so be ware of the midges, close to the road so can be a little noisy at night but overall very pleased

Quality spot, tight entrance to get in but nicely hidden from the road. Stunning views and sunset if the weather is kind to you.

Super Platz. Alles eben und teilweise geschottert. Ist zwar genau neben der Straße. Ist aber ein Schutzwall dazwischen. Mit Feuerstelle.
