Parking près de la mer. Aucun service. Aéroport à proximité, on entend les avions.

Free secluded parking overlooking the Firth of Forth and Cramond Island. Situated on the very north-western edge of Edinburgh and far enough away from interuptions! Plenty of space and privacy. Some streetlighting so safe and quiet. Under a flight path.

Very convenient parkup for Edinburgh Park and Ride. Large car park, plenty of bays. Often used by dog walkers during the day. Good 4g. Would recommend.

  • 3/5

nice enough but INCREDIBLY busy car park ..if your in a van, you have to arrive very early and leave late as you won't get out for people overparking everywhere

  • 3/5

  • 5/5

lovely park up with no hassle, felt safe as there were other vans, had a good night sleep !

  • 4/5

  • 4/5

Quite a quiete place by night. ideed we hear traffic plane but only untill 12pm. we stood there 2 nights and racers boys came only once. By morning, the parking is crewded. You have public toilet open at 10h30 am only 3 minutes walking. nearby you have a nice coffee shop as well. The site is really Nice, we can have some walk around the river and the village.

  • 5/5

  • 4/5

We Loved it. Good spot to enjoy the surroundings. We drove with the bike to Edinburgh, took about 40 mins with nice views. No cars disturbing us whilst we were there. The only downside is the nearby airport with the very loud noises.

  • 2/5

Wir waren zwei Nächte hier. Recht Spät angekommen, erste Nacht wunderbar geschlafen.

  • 4/5

Lovely overnight stay here, we will be back! The positive reviews listed are spot on. Boy racers did appear very briefly, one doughnut and off they went. Try to park up on the left as soon as you enter to avoid them. Planes do go over but did not disturb us. We got the bus to Edinburgh for the day, easy and cheap way to access the city.

  • 4/5

  • 4/5

Nice parking next to the beach we stayed for one night, not the most straight floor but we slept very good, it’s a good choice if you have a late flight and collect a camper at night since it’s only 15-20 min from the airport.

  • 1/5

Would have been a beautiful spot, but the "boy racers" mentioned by others ruined it, the turned up at 12 pm pulling off some sick donuts, unfortunately spraying all parking cars with pebbles! Try parking in the first section of the car park, at least that way you'll be safe from debris (but not the noise). Public toilets nearby, but they were closed from 7 pm to 10:30 am l. No other service.

  • 5/5

  • 1/5

Lovely during the day but then constantly boy racers turning up making excess noise all the way till 4am so I decided to move on.!! Such a shame as it’s very picturesque

  • 4/5

  • 4/5

Nice place, ok view, a few holes and a bit uneven but for the price, and the safe feeling definitely worth a stop! We’d use it again. Even managed to have a Chinese delivery from Lucky Chen to the car park!!

  • 4/5

Large and spacious carpark. Relatively flat. Quite busy. Hear the airplanes landing and take off. Next to the beach. Cellphone reception works but a bit slow. Probably the best parking nearby :) Although be careful on the way there… Branches from the trees above the road are hanging so they might touch the roof of the motorhome.

  • 4/5

Very nice parking space just in frond of the sea and the Cramond island. There were many cars during the night but we were left 5 vans to spend the night. Busy during the day. Toilets nearby are closed.

  • 5/5

Cracking spot. We came for Parkrun which is along the promenade and stayed for three nights with no problems. Toilets nearby which close overnight. Very busy car park but lots of space and a few other campers. Beautiful views and walks and easy access to Edinburgh. Bus 41 goes into the centre in 30 mins from bus stop on the main road - £5 for all day ticket. Also cycle path to Leith - six miles.

  • 3/5

Big car park, seems common with campers, feeling safety in numbers vibe but very busy with traffic until late, lots of planes over head. Toilets short walk away.

  • 5/5

A gem of a park up! Completely free and ample space. We turned up at 11.30pm and there were 3 other campers. The bus stop is a 10 minute walk to the end of the road, £2 each to way to Edinburgh or £5 day rider, took about 30 minutes. Car park was busier in the day time with families and dog walkers but still plenty of space. A few planes overhead but didn’t bother us. Highly recommend!

  • 5/5

lovely peaceful place to park. i stayed 2 nights and felt very safe as a solo female camper. beautiful view over the water, lots of spaces to park in, toilets within a few minutes walk but only open 11am - 6pm. bus stop into Edinburgh city centre about 10 minutes walk away and the bus journey takes about 30-40 minutes and only costs £1.80. a few historic buildings to see in this lovely village

  • 3/5

Big car park. Planes directly overhead the night we stayed. Several boy racers until 11 with very loud stereos! Once they finally left peaceful night.

  • 5/5

amazing place to park for easy access to edinburgh

  • 4/5

lovely spot and secluded, only problem is the constant flights overhead, they did stop about midnight and start again about 6. incredible walk over the causeway to the island in the morning. car park was busy in the morning

  • 5/5

Great park up, stayed 3 nights, bins for rubbish toilets they are locked over night, tesco 25min walk away, bus stop 30min rode from town centre..lots of little walks great for dogs..pelwase be respectful and put rubbish in the bins

  • 5/5

Very good spot. there is a lot of rubbish, so I wouldn't be surprised if this spot is lost soon. I usually carry litter pickers to clean up but didn't have them this time.

  • 5/5

ideal place to park, like the description says under a flight path but didn't bother us much and the dog soon got used to it too. very busy with motorhomes even in December but so much room that it really doesn't matter. Good dog walks nearby

  • 5/5

  • 4/5

Perfect spot for access to Airport or after a late flight. Massive carpark with lots of greenery. Quite a lot of people in the morning for dog walks along the shore path. Bins, toilets nearby. Great 4g. The planes above weren't that bad.

  • 4/5

A fabulous location for a park up, overlooking and with access to Cramond Island (at low tide). This free car park is quite big and surrounded by trees, there are lots of litter bins located in the car park and along the promenade where you will also find toilets (not 24hr). Car park is directly under a flight path and it’s a fair busy one day and night so get the earplugs out!

  • 4/5

  • 4/5

Great free car park, decent shelter from the trees compared to other nearby spots which can be very windy. Public toilets, bins. Access to crammond island walking and foreshore esplanade. Fairly peaceful night, gets busy in mornings with dog walkers

  • 3/5

Aucun service.

  • 4/5

Great spot. Council need to sort rubbish bins out as they where over flowing. We stop Saturday night. Gets very busy early Sunday morning with visitors.

  • 1/5

We nipped over the estuary to use this car park for a dog walk today and we’re horrified by the state of the litter and mess left. There were obv quite a few vans that had stayed over and not all the litter would be from camper vans but guys if a bin is full take your bag away with you don’t just leave it out on the floor. Very disappointed as there’ll be signs going up and barriers installed.

  • 3/5

Still FREE but very busy when we arrived due to the sunny weather managed to park up in the afternoon and took a walk to cramond island. There was (overflowing) bins and public toilets near the beach in the day. Due to it being rammed even into the evening we were unable to settle here and decided to move to marine drive which was much quieter

  • 5/5

great FREE parking area stayed 2 nights 2 days no problem. quite flat toilets open in day time garbage bin. nice walking/cycling path on the water front and to cramond island when tide allows it. 8 min walk to bus stop and bus n 41 that takes you directly to Edinburgh city center in 40 min. highly recommended. only 1 night teenagers with loud music in the parking lot but they didn't bother us.

  • 5/5

Brilliant place to stay, very large car park surrounded by trees so feels private, 1 min walk from the beach. Very busy with dog walkers but quite all night. Have stayed here on a few separate occasions now, a favourite spot to stop.

  • 5/5

It's a popular place for locals and Vans but we were undisturbed. Slept well and enjoyed the nature around us. Lots of room to park.

  • 3/5

Airplanes, teenagers in loud cars, and the car park was so full when we woke up it was tough to get out. Lots of space for campers over 6m. Cell service is limited.

  • 5/5

Nice little spot quiet and flat plenty of spaces although really filled up in the morning. Nice walk across to the island behind.

  • 4/5

Beautiful location, but lots of joggers, people with dogs in the weekend. And as someone mentioned here, there are these streetracers who are active till midnight. But great spot!

  • 4/5

Good nights sleep. Few boy racers until 10 pm then quiet most of the night.

  • 5/5

Very quiet place. Only few Cars at 9.30pm + 2motorhomes. I will come back here in a future

  • 4/5

Loud planes go over every hour or so. Not as close to the water as it looks but lots of space and public toilets near by. Got a peaceful night sleep and had no problems

  • 5/5

Large carpark, plenty of space to spread out and not feel crowded. Close to beach, couple of cafes with a few minutes walk.

  • 3/5

Not a bad spot, cars coming and going with walkers, dog walkers, etc. Flight path to airport so planes fly over but not bad. Had a group of youths park between 2 motorhomes despite loads of space at 10:45pm and make noise, think they were trying to get a rise out of us but they left without incident.

  • 4/5

Free to park with a nice view. There are public toilets a short walk away (open 11am-6pm)

  • 4/5

Very busy during the day, but gets quiet when the sun goes down, only about 5 cars stay overnight. Some boy racers around on the weekends. Bin in the car park, and toilets a 2 min walk away open during the day. Right next to a walking path along the sea with views of Cramond Island. Can see foxes around the car park at night.

  • 5/5

Great stop. was very busy on arrival around 5pm but was able to park and then move later to a corner quieter spot. only us and 1 other van. lovely walk along beach front and perfect for the little one on bike. toilets closed at 6

  • 2/5

Beautiful parking area with loads to do but I wouldn't stop alone, me and my partner were the only motor home there and we felt like we stood out, people were just walking out of the trees all over and there were loads of teens hanging around with camping gear. we felt a bit uncomfortable as the night progressed and we ended up moving up the coast a bit. would reccomend for a day trip.

  • 5/5

Absolutely beautiful parking spot! Busy during the day however peaceful at night and the views are stunning! Has public toilets

  • 4/5

Hassle free park up. Busy carpark however and on a flight path. Dog friendly and great for getting into Edinburgh.

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot. Tucked ourselves into a corner out the way. Enjoyed lovely evening stroll along the coastal path.

  • 4/5

A lot of trees about so if you can't get the right parking spot your view is the trees. But the noise wasn't a problem once I was asleep no planes bothered me.

  • 5/5

December 2019 : Park up @ 9pm - 10am. FREE all Day & Night. Set in a glade, it’s quite hidden & very quiet with plenty of spaces. Locals are polite and generally walking dogs. “Leave It As You Found It”.

  • 2/5

  • 1/5

Très bruyant fêtard, alcool. A fuir
