Stayed here one night with one other camper - peaceful night - no noise or disturbance . Woke to laminated bylaws on windscreen however - no overnighting allowed .

To let you all know. I stayed here last night. The road that goes by is not that quite at all. Nice to have a pub walking distance. Come the morning the Forest ranger can by to inform me that there is no overnight camping aloud here. The signs on looking at them also state this.

Very flat and peaceful spot, lots of room, one other van there. Woke up to find the ‘byelaws’ on the windscreen

Arrived about 6pm and just a few cars, had a lovely walk in the forest. Had no problem staying the evening and had company of two other Motorhomes. Lots of parking for more then 4 Motorhomes. Drove to the cycle centre for two great rides around the forest then back here for lunch, very busy by then but still got a space.

Nice stop over there were 4 campers this night.had the bylaws poster put on windscreen,but I cannot see how they can enforce it.

Beautiful Walks, lovely car park just a shame they have new signage (picture been attached) restricting over night stays.

I visited two of the places where Poppythepod said there were signs and found none and stayed perfectly well overnight. I have not been to this site but I suggest you check it. Poppythepod has put up 6 comments, all for the Forest of Dean, all saying that parking has been banned. I think she or he is deliberately misleading people.

Plenty of space for campers and access straight onto Sculpture Trail and walks through woods. Toilets and cafe at visitor centre nearby if needed.

As of JAN 2021, NO LONGER AVALIBLE FOR OVERNIGHT STOPS. New permanant signage displaying the bylaws and expressly saying no parking of any vehhicle for any reason between sunset and sunrise & and no camping or sleeping allowed.

Beautiful area, plenty of walks around! Peaceful nightsleep but did wake up to a laminated piece of paper expressing no overnight parking was allowed, but no fine, just the paper. 2 other campers were there too so made us feel more comfortable.

Lovely place to stop, nice walks right on the door step. patchy 4G signal. there was no bins or facilities etc. but we really enjoyed it and didn't hear the road noise through the night once van closed up. would recommend.

Lovely little spot, no barriers or height restrictions. Nice walks right on the doorstep, patchy 4G signal but easy to find!

Slept in this carpark for 2 nights in a row, sheltered from the rain and quiet, just a few dog walkers in the morning

A great park up, set well back from the road and with a wonderful Sculpture Trail walk on the doorstep. The road was rather noisy all night but not too disruptive. Weak 4G signal.

As someone said, the bye laws say no overnight parking. they sneak about and put a laminated letter on windscreen.....but their are a few lay bys but closer to the road. I have a few laminate pages....lol... cheers

A lovely spot to stay with an added bonus of a good woodland walk attached. Didn't notice the road all night as car park is well set back amongst the trees.

Well off the road but the road is very noisy all night. Limited space for anything larger than a camper van. Quite a busy parking area all day well into the evening for dog walkers

Quiet. It is in the Forest of Dean so the bye-law against staying overnight applies. We stayed one night and moved on early the next morning.
