Accès à ce spot possible avec un 4x4 ou un petit van. Avec un camping-car, c'est difficile, voire impossible ! Nous avons préféré le "camping" du restaurant Catlak, 300 mètres plus bas, accessible à tous les véhicules. C'est payant, mais 100 TL (3.33 €) pour la nuit, on peut se le payer, non ?

Amazing location to spend a few days hiking and enjoying the scenery. Some incredible walks to be done and no one on the trails. Friendly locals. Can get water from the cemetery, we had tea with the local farmer and he helped us fill with water. Also a bin on site. Very quiet, a few friendly strays.

Perfect base for hiking the Ihlara Valley. We caught the school bus from outside the cathedral at 8am to Ihlara village for TL20pp. It was TL200pp to enter the trailhead and the 12km (approx) walk was magnificent with loads of rock churches & frescoes to explore. The only other people we saw was at Belisirma. The entrance ticket also covers admission to Selime Cathedral if used on the same day.

Stayed here a couple of days ago, was as described, nice view and relatively quiet during night. We drove to Ihlara next day, parked the car at entrance 1, then walked through the valley back to Selime. We asked at the ticket office in Ihlara about the dolmus buses; in Selime taxi drivers told us there is no bus. But the bus came at 4.30pm in Selime and was 5TL pp; taxi was 200 TL to Ihlara.

Excellent spot, right underneath the fairy chimneys. Friendly stray dogs, they barked a bit in the evening but were quiet during the night

Chemin en terre. Grande place avec possibilité de trouver un endroit plat. Pas de service. 4G ok. Vu sur troglodyte. Presence de berger et chiens donc bruyant la nuit. Umit parlant anglais tient une cave dans son arrière boutique "Selime Antiques House" très amicale il nous a offert le thé. il vaut mieux dormir au sources d'eau chaude, un peu plus loin qui est calme.

Magnifique spot, calme, plat. Point de départ pour de super balades dans les roches et les grottes. 2 adorables chiens, très doux et affectueux. Passage du berger et son troupeau.
