Will very soon be a pay and display car park with No overnight parking There’s something on Facebook about it now 25/10/2003 The council say they need more ways to generate cash there are a lot more sea views in the area that will also be pay and display ..

Noses Point. It was busier in the day but went quieter later. October and still a few vans in the furthest section. We loved the short but steep walk to the beach. We drove to the main Seaham beach and parked up but you could walk.

Great spot. Calm, quiet with great views. A few other vans and MHs overnight and joined by walkers in the morning. All good !

I didn't end up staying here overnight as I didn't feel safe. The back part of the car park appears to have been taken over by caravans. The area itself was nice though.

Endroit magnifique pour passer une nuit ou plusieurs, belle balade le long des falaises. Largement de place pour se garer, et très calme. Emplacement gratuit.

stayed here last night along with about six others. A pleasant, level spot with views out to sea when the rain and low cloud wasn't in the way

superb views. quiet night. Bins and level ground. one of my favourite north east spots. Arrive late,leave early !

Been here for a few nights, brill stopover. About 10 motor homes here tonight plenty more room.. yeah you get the odd car in playing music and chatting late on but they don’t bother you so ignore it and they leave. Right on the beach lovely walks not far from seaham

Als wir ankamen standen ca. 10 weitere Wohnmobile auf dem Platz, aber es war noch genug Platz für uns da. An sich schön gelegener Ort, aber wir sind nach einer Stunde wieder gefahren, da ständig Autos mit lauter Musik auf den Parkplatz kamen, um sich dort mit anderen zu treffen.

Stayed here overnight, Lovely view in the morning and was fairly quiet with a few cars coming and going but nothing too bad and no one bothered us. There was about 5/6 other vans parked up as well plenty of space.

Quiet night here, and wonderful views/dogwalk. Top Tip in minus zero temperatures: park in the top section (through the open gate) of the car park. Lower section (closest to the sea) becomes an ice-rink. Very grateful to two locals for a helping hand out!

Enjoyed my stay here last night, perfect location with stunning views and very quite nights sleep. will stay here again.

Super mooie plek om te staan. Geen voorzieningen buiten een prullenbak. Ideaal om met de honden te gaan lopen. Rustige nacht gehad, geen last van jongeren gehad. Er waren meerdere camperaars aanwezig.

Place was full of boy racers, tooting horns and wheel spinning/music playing and then we were moved on by police. Avoid.

Nose Point view parking, plaatsen toch wel klein voor middelgrote campers. Fantastisch zicht. Parking jammer genoeg ook gebruikt door de plaatselijke jeugd die wat troep achter laten. Al bij rustige nacht. Bezoek glass beach om gekleurde steentjes te zoeken.

Beautiful place with outstanding views, well suited for motorhomes! And best of all, it's free!

Nice view, nice beach and easy walk into town. Four litter bins and people still dumped bags of rubbish next to them. From about 19.30 until it went dark there were many cars pulling up for a couple of minutes and then left the car park. They didn't interact with anybody which seemed a little strange. I felt safe and got eight hours of undisturbed sleep !

Very surprised to have enjoyed a peaceful and undisturbed Friday night stay at the end car park at Nose’s Point with a beautiful view over the cliffs and down to the beach. Early in the night there were a few cars with loud music playing but they didn’t stay long.

excellent park up. quiet and surrounded by stunning scenery. Toilets available 5 mins down the road in shopping centre. easy walk into town. great for walking dogs on the beach. stayed for 2 whole days, one night. no issues at all.

Only stopped for a couple of hours.. I wish I could stay.. beautiful place . And very peaceful.

perfect ... only a few people on the car park and after an hour or so they left. woke up this morning missed the sunrise but still a cracking view. phone signal is good I'm on three, shops are a few minutes drive and there's a couple of chip shops about if your peckish in the evening. definitely coming back to this one

This is called Noses Point car park! I had a lovely peaceful night here last night, a few other vans here too and watched a fabulous sunrise this morning! Plenty of bins (which were emptied this morning, Easter Sunday!) and lovely walks along the cliffs! I spoke to a local who said the little beach was where they filmed the beginning of Alien 2!

What a lovely view to wake up to. We parked in the dark around 23.00 for our first ever off grid night. Had to park in the 1st car park and reversed onto the grass a little so we didn’t stick out of the space in our 8mtr motorhome. The 2nd car park had fences at the end of the spaces so would only be suitable for camper vans. A little noise from ‘boy racers’ but nothing too bad.

We arrived at 15:30 as the car park was beginning to empty. We were the only motorhome. However, the car park was somewhat litter strewn and looked somewhat untidy as a direct result of the lazy and illegal actions of others!

We parked here for several hours this afternoon and there are no signs preventing overnight. We left at 4 and there were several vans settling in. Lovely spot for beach mooching.

All parking areas are being policed so no overnighting from now on. apparently campervanners have been dumping chemical toilet waste in bushes and taking over car parks. we saw warden telling campers today. yet again bad behaviour by the few spoils it for the many.

Good spot on the cliffs with great views. nice and quiet night with only the odd disturbance after dark and from dog walkers arriving from 5am. difficult to access the beach from here so we didn't bother.

Spent a good night here. Soon started to get busy on Saturday morning so left before long despite the lovely views and walks available.

Our first ever over night stop in our van! Great little spot with amazing views. We went to Horden Beach during the day, which is a lovely bit of coast line. Expect the locals to turn up at 6am sharp!

It was lovely until the locals came and were racing up and down in their cars until about 22.30 then it was peaceful again. it has lovely views of the ocean we also spotted Dolphins swimming.

Nice parking on tarmac with only a slight slope. It’s on top of a cliff overlooking the sea. so it could be windy. The parking closer to town was very busy so we drove a further half mile up to East Cliff where there were loads of parking spaces at 3 pm we are actually at noses point.

Parfait pour une nuit avec une jolie vue des falaises ! Possibilité de se dégourdir les jambes aux alentours. Il peut y avoir un peu de passage (personnes qui mange les burger dans leur voiture, viennent promener leur chien,...).

Wunderschöner Blick über die Küste und Küstenwanderweg. Die erwähnten Jugendlichen waren an einem Montag mit Einbruch der Dunkelheit verschwunden, sehr ruhige Nacht, möglicherweise ist es am Wochenende anders. Am Montagmittag fuhren jedenfalls zwei gegenüberstehende Wohnwagen/Caravan mit lauter Musik und Müll und Scherben hinterlassend ab. Am anderen Morgen kam eine Kehrmaschine.

Der Platz an der Küste ist wirklich atemberaubend schön und auch die Gegend ist super für schöne lange Spaziergänge (mit Hund)! Am Tag sind einige Jogger oder Gassigänger unterwegs - alle sehr freundlich! Deswegen fällt es mir schwer einen Stern abzuziehen, aber diese Jugendlichen am Abend sind eher eine Zumutung! Sie stehen hier bis früh um 4 oder länger, schreien umher, pinkeln auf dem Parkplatz und sind einfach nur peinlich! Für Menschen mit starken Nerven vermutlich kein Problem - wir finden es jedoch sehr nervig!

Spent a lovely night here. Dog walkers (the heritage trail along the coast passes right past - great for dogs and humans) and teenagers leave by nightfall. All very quiet. No services.

Alles super. Hinten rechts wird abends von Jugendlichen als Treffpunkt genutzt, aber ab 22 Uhr waren die mit ihren Autos auch verschwunden und der Lärm hielt sich in Grenzen. Ein Weg führt die Steilküste runter, ist allerdings recht steil.

Großartig! Eine sehr schöne Aussicht, sehr ruhig und nur vereinzelnte Spaziergänger mit und ohne Hund. Sehr viele Parkplätze, leider schräg (Böcke/Keile unter den Reifen werden benötigt) Daher 1 Minusstern.

Calme, belle vue sur la mer, la police est passée et ne nous a rien dit, bel endroit. Supermarché à 1 km.

Super coin très calme pour passer la nuit et faire une belle promenade
