Stunning views, tranquil sound of water flowing. Parking bays are used by hill walkers and logging lorrys. All empty when we arrived but worth considering in the summer months, when it could be busy. Had a tidy up and filled a small bin bag, accumulation rather than one specific traveller.
Perfect for a quick nights stay, not anything overly special but good if you can’t find anything else. Please pick up your dog poo though, my puppy started eating it and I’ve had one hell of a morning cleaning up turds hahaha
Very quiet night here.Traffic started about 8 to access the local forest for work. Highly recommended and easy drive to Glasgow or Kintyre.
Superbe endroit au calme, en plein milieu des montagnes et bien en retrait de la route. Point de départ d'une randonnée, on a pu aller se promener un peu. Nuit très paisible et spot parfait. On recommande!
Toller Ort für eine Nacht! Nachts sehr ruhig. Ausgangspunkt für Wanderung auf den Ben Donich.
Mehrere Parkmöglichkeiten. Eine passt perfekt für 6m und ist eben. Schöne Aussicht auf die Berge ringsherum. Mehrere Wanderwege starten von hier. Im Moment etwas mehr Verkehr und Teile gesperrt wegen Arbeiten in der Umgebung.
Guter Platz, ruhig, Handy Signal sehr gut, keine Höhenbegrenzung

Someone left here a few empty winebottles, and a huge ammount of greywater, otherwise the spot is 5/5 but smells

Reasonably level, easy access, quiet. Great walks & cycling track. Sat night - three cars, hikers up Ben Donich. Otherwise we had the place to ourselves. No facilities but ideal for Stop over.
Endroit très calme avec beaucoup de places. Un peu de bruit cette nuit car ils y avaient des travaux sur la grande route derrière. Nous avons passé une excellente nuit. Départ pour randonnées.

stopped for one night on our way to the west coast, very quiet night,first space is the flattest,rest other spaces fine,plenty walkers in the morning but no problems.no amenities,so leave not trace.
Lovely place. Room for 3-5 campers. We came here but didn’t stay as we needed phone signal and despite previous comments, we had 0 signal on 3.
Clean, peaceful, no facilities, no lighting. Great for star gazing. Keep it clean. We were on 2nd spot and it was totally level. 4G available. No radio or TV. Best nights sleep.
Lovely spot enclosed by hills. Just one flat space the others are with a bit of a slope. Very wet and misty for us. Close to a smaller but fairly regularly used road. Great for a night and to start a hike directly from the car park.

lovely quiet spot. there are 3 areas to go into at the beginning of the road. I stayed in the first as was nice and flat. only room for 1 van. the other 2 spaces are bigger but slightly slope back. Really peaceful with just a couple of logging lorries coming past but they didnt bother you. Just keeps door and windows closed from evening onwards if its misty as midges were around.
First we drove pas thise one because we wanted to see the if the one down the road was more off the beaten oath, but that one seems to have dissapeared. this one is still a great place off the main road! We also stopped at the Honeymoon Bridge, but wanted something quieter and away from the road, which this was perfect for. Three other campers there when we drove in, no facilities.

Incredible 360 views. Tried a spot down in the valley but midges unbearable. Here there was only a few. No facilities. Just beauty. Sat and drank wine under the canopy on the van and took in the breathtaking scenery in the rain. Low clouds passing through the valleys below. Totally recommend whatever the weather. 3 bays with enough room for 6 campers, only one other on our visit.
This was to be my choice in the area for the night. I investigated it and it was quite good. However, I went to the Cairndow Stagecoach Inn, had a meal and two drinks, asked the young girl behind the bar if I could stay in the car park. A gentleman returned two minutes later and said "yes of course". Winner winner chicken dinner!
Uneven gravel on a slight slope, quiet night, one other camper with us. Not heaps of room for large motorhomes. Good spot for a hike :)
