Ample free parking above the charming village of Å I Lofoten. (For maximum 6 hours) Ideal for spending the night disembarking from the ferry at Moskenes. Departure of hike for the tour of Ågvatnet lake. Extraordinary panorama from the end of the path, at the end of the parking lot. A sign in 5 languages specifies that it is a car park and not a campsite. Behave accordingly. Public toilets at the entrance to the parking lot.

Great free parking for upto 6 hours whilst visiting the lovely village and the view point. toilet a bit dirty but ok and free, large rubbish bin in carpark. bid not stay the night as it said no camping. thank you to the village for providing the free car park as it saves lots of congestion in the village.

Grand parking, pas top pour y passer une nuit mais ça peu dépanner pour l’arrivée ou le départ du ferry. Belle randonnée à proximité (attention ça grimpe fort pour les plus petits). Des toilettes sur place. Nous étions 15 véhicules à dormir dont 3 vans avec le toit déplié, aucun problème pour une nuit.

Großer Platz, okay für eine Nacht (an die 6 Stunden Regel scheint sich niemand zu halten). Recht laut, auch nachts, durch An- und Abreisende der Fähre. Nett für einen Spaziergang durch den Ort oder zum wandern am See.

Stayed overnight with no problems, 3 campervans besides us - bonus for off-season travel. Toilets open 24/7. Not much traffic, great views.

Schöner Parkplatz um sich Å anzusehen und die Gegend zu erkunden aber: Den gesamten Parkplatz säumen Schilder mit dem Hinweis das die maximale Parkdauer 6 Stunden beträgt. Wir haben uns daher für die Nacht lieber nach einem anderen Platz umgesehen.

Great place to stay for a night. Paved, but a little bit sloping. Toilets open 24/7. Buses idling in the early morning makes a little noise. Nice little hike/view just behind the fish racks.

Parking gratuit. Les alentours sont magnifiques, le petit village touristique aussi, vive la morue. Merci pour cet espace gratuit sur les Lofoten, pourvu que cela continue !

angenehmer Platz, für eine Nacht absolut ok. Toilette ist etwas leider etwas gewöhungsbedürftig. Dennoch insgesamt zu emfehlen.

Absolument parfait pour une nuit. Calme. Toilettes. Ne simplement pas déballer les affaires de camping. Vous êtes au bout de l'île, la route s'arrêtant ici. Nous y avons vu une Aurore boréale ce 22 septembre.

Großer, kostenloser Parkplatz. Super für eine kurze Pause oder auch für eine Nacht. Wir haben hier geparkt, um einen Spaziergang durch Å zu machen und um eine kurze Pause einzulegen.

Rien à dire. Parfait pour une halte nocturne. Un peu en pente, cales plutôt nécessaires. Ne pas hésiter à prendre le petit chemin au bout, superbe spectacle assuré.

Ok for one night, especially coming with evening ferry or going in the morning ; it does the job, toilets are clean, with sinks/hot water.

Well... it’s a pretty uncharming but functional parking ground. Big bonus for clean toilets and warm running water in the tourist information building. The walk to Å Takes about 2mins, using the way next to the tourist office.

Die Kommune Moslenes unzersagt es zu übernachten! (Infotafel im Hafen) Kontrolliert wird es scheinbar nicht. Allerdings ist der Platz auch nix besonderes und es ist viel Verkehr!

Grand parking gratuit, sans charme, mais qui permet d’aller visiter le village en contrebas (n’oubliez pas d’aller y déguster un cinnamon roll, dans la boulangerie), et de randonner un peu plus haut.

Kein besonders toller Ort - ein Parkplatz halt. Bis nach Mitternacht ziemlich laut. Früh ging es such recht zeitig los.

Parfait pour passer la nuit. Aucun service mais toilette et eau aux WC public. A 2 mn à pied du petit village de Å. Ne manquez pas l’ancienne boulangerie où le pain et les pâtisseries sont délicieuses.

It may be a very popular tarmac car park but this really is a great place to say and completely free. The location is superb as the surrounding area is just stunning. Free toilets with hot running water. What more do you want.........water maybe but that’s just being picky!

Good parking, slightly sloped and quite busy, but parking is big and ok in June. Nice walks from here. WC open all night and rubbish bins available.

Great spot to spend the night. A bit sloping and essentially a car park but quiet at night. Busy with campers even in early June. Technically you’re not allowed to camp here but it seems to be tolerated. When the campsite around the corner is charging 400NOK you can see why people choose this option.

Schöner, ruhiger Platz über der Stadt. Toller Ausblick von den Klippen. Stockfische neben dem Parkplatz sorgen für den typischen Geruch, den wir aber nicht als unangenehm empfanden.

Großer Parkplatz, der gleichzeitig Wendepunkt und Endhaltestelle für die Linienbusse von und nach A i Lofoten ist. Gut frequentiert, aber nachts dennoch angenehm ruhig. Beheizte Toilette ist auch nachts geöffnet. Man kann von hier aus zu Fuß in den Ort schlendern, um beim Bäcker unschlagbar leckere Zimtschnecken zu kaufen.

Quiet spot. Toilets are clean and have hot water. The only problem is the fish drying racks just behind the parking are full in springtime so there was a constant faint smell of fish.

Très pratique pour visiter Å, belles promenades autour. Assez bruyant la nuit au grès des ferry et des mouettes ! WC et robinet d'eau près du magasin.

Wir sind gegen 6 Uhr morgens nach der Fähre dort angekommen, um noch etwas zu schlafen. Es waren noch ausreichend Plätze vorhanden. Spätestens mittags ist der Parkplatz jedoch brechend voll von Womos, PKWs und Bussen. Leider wurden wir auch ziemlich rücksichtslos zugeparkt. Liegt vielleicht an der Zeit Mitte/Ende Juli und ist früher oder später im Jahr besser.

Grosser Parkplatz, wenig Charme. Viele Camper die parken & übernachten. Grosse Fahrzeuge haben Platz auf zwei hintereinander liegenden Parkfelder. Gut für vor oder nach der Fähre. Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, z.B. Stokkvika.

Hatten eine ruhige Nacht vor der Fähre, Ein WC war auch in der Nacht zugänglich. Wenn man hier nur übernachtet und nicht campiert, gibt es keine Probleme.

Grand parking à la sortie du tunnel. Arrives à 17h30, il y avait encore de la place. Mais vite rempli car des bus ont accès aussi. Nuit calme. Pas de service. Seul inconvénient l’odeur pestilentiel des têtes de morue séchées tout autour. Village de pêcheurs très visité avec ses rorbuer, cabanes rouge brique sur pilotis.

Wunderbarer Stellplatz nach der abendlichen Ankunft der Fähre. Autos kommen natürlich manchmal, aber es ist ein Parkplatz.

Parking facile d'accès mais très bruyant la nuit. Beaucoup de va-et-vient de personnes et de véhicules sans doute dû au soleil de minuit.

Très calme la nuit, agité en journée à cause du ballet des touristes visitant le village. Il y a un séchoir à poisson à proximité. En fonction de la direction du vent, il peut y avoir une gêne olfactive.
