Officiel campspot but found it not really suitable for big campers. Direct on the road not really leveld. Walk to the gorge is beautiful though

on the adge of the road,on slope
Loetzi6809/09/2023Wir haben hier eine sehr ruhige Nacht verbracht. Man steht auf einer Art Seitenstreifen kurz vor der Ortschaft Vikos. Im Ort gibt es 3 Tavernen und man kann von hier gut die Wanderungen in die Schlucht machen.

Der Platz ist ausreichend groß für drei Vans oder zwei Wohnmobile. Man hat eine tolle Aussicht und wir haben eine ruhige Nacht verbracht. Wenn hier ausdrücklich steht, dass dies die kostenlose Camping Zone im Dorf ist, muss man nicht extra ins Dorf stehen.
kirsch4u14/06/2023Ein Platz für ein Fahrzeug. Besser den Hotelbesitzer ca. 100 m weiter fragen, ob man auf dem Hotelparkplatz stehen darf.

Mit wunderbarem Sonnenuntergang eine fast ruhige Nacht verbracht. Nur die Hunde gaben mehrmals gekläfft. Die kleine Wanderung in die Schlucht ist unbedingt zu empfehlen
Rippert05/05/2023Platz für maximal 3 Wohnmobile. Die Anfahrt von letzten Dorf steile Rampe! Am Weg zum view Point sprang ein Hund über die Mauer und hat unsre Hunde angegriffen. Leider war niemand da, mein Mann wurde gebissen. Also Achtung Warnung für Hundebesitzer

Only space for one van, on the side of the road into the village. Beautiful views. Right by the (very quiet) road. We parked for a couple hours to view the gorge and have lunch, would be fine overnight. The viewpoint is >5min walk into the village. Try the mountain tea!

peu de place sur le petit parking à l'entrée du village. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir de la place pour y passer la nuit qui fut très calme en cette mi-novembre. Nous avons trouvé les habitants plutôt très sympas et accueillant, et nous comprenons très bien qu'ils n'aient pas envie de voir leur charmante petite place envahie par de nombreux camping cars.

Parked here to go to the viewpoint of the gorge and have lunch. Just on the side of the road and it’s quite uneven, but camping is tolerated here! The road isn’t very busy so it would be fine for an overnight stay. Beautiful open view of the surroundings; mountains and trees for kilometers! Just a few minutes walk from the viewpoint
