Endroit très calme avec une super vue entre un loch et une route très peu passante. Un peu boueux si il a plut mais quand même praticable. Quand nous nous sommes réveillé, des moutons broutaient au bord de notre van.
Petite aire de stationnement aux abords de la route qui est très peu passante la nuit, dimensionnée pour 3/4 vans ou 2/3 camping-cars et avec une superbe vue ! Proximité directe du Old Man of Storr. Aucun service excepté la 4G

saraybernat202303/10/2023Pasamos la noche aquí, es verdad que se escuchan algunos coches pero no nos molesto para dormir (pararon hacia las 22h y los volvimos a escuchar sobre las 7am). Caben como mucho 3 coches para estar espaciosos, pero el terreno tiene bastante barro si llueve

Wenn man autark ist ein toller Platz in der Nähe zum Old Man of Storr. Schöne Aussicht und nachts ganz ruhig.

OK para pasar la noche. Carretera tranquila, sin mucho ruido. Plagado de mosquitos si no mueve aire y no llueve.

Bon emplacement pour faire la rando du Old man of Storr le matin, avant l’arrivée des bus... mais pas plus : au bord d'une route principale et passante, les midges occupent bien les lieux ! La vue reste très belle !

Nice place close to the main city of the island. The place can be quite muddy so be careful not to get stuck. 4G reception, which was nice! The view was also beautiful. However, it is close to a main road and there are a lot of small insects making it more difficult to sleep

Had a good night here, had EE 4G, one other van behind us, great park up to walk the old man. As said before, traffic dies down around 9.30pm. The next park up along is a little bit further off the road so would try and get there next time.

Un bon endroit en bordure de route. La circulation se calme le soir. Aucun problème la nuit. Vue magnifique sur le loch et vue sur le Old man of Storr. De la terre et un peu d’herbe. Un bon plan car pas beaucoup de possibilité autour pour la nuit.

Le suivant étant plein, nous avons stationné ici. L’endroit est moins abrité donc nous sentons bien le vent qui est très fort, et qq voitures qui passent très vite. Mais la nuit moins de circulation. L’endroit est par contre très beau, la vue sur le loch et le old man of storr sont magnifiques.

Woke up to a lovely view of Old Man of Storr, and great views over Loch Leathan. Parking is right next to the road however, with no trees or verge separating, but road was quiet at night. Also seemed to be quite exposed and windy.

Level but bumpy surface with puddles. Fairly close to traffic, enough to get rocked by larger vehicles but no traffic at night so slept well. Remote enough to get the generator out and not bother anyone. I was able to walk along the verge with the dog instead of yomping up the mountain.
