Lieu de pique-nique sur le chemin du lac Arpi. Le chemin de terre est en très mauvais état avec de nombreux nids de poule. Véhicules à grand dégagement recommandés. Quelques ordures sur place et quelques camions qui passent sur la route. Il est caché de la route principale et nous avons passé une nuit tranquille avant de traverser les frontières vers la Géorgie.

Picnic place on the way to Arpi Lake. The dirt-road is in very bad shape with many potholes. High clearance vehicles recommended. Some garbage around at the spot and few trucks passing by at the road. It is hidden from the main road and we spent a quiet night before crossing borders to Georgia.

Picknickplatz auf dem Weg zum Arpi-See. Die Schotterpiste ist in einem sehr schlechten Zustand mit vielen Schlaglöchern. Fahrzeuge mit hoher Bodenfreiheit empfohlen. Etwas Müll an der Stelle und ein paar Lastwagen, die an der Straße vorbeifahren. Es ist von der Hauptstraße versteckt und wir verbrachten eine ruhige Nacht, bevor wir die Grenze nach Georgien überquerten.

      Super nice place. The road is ok and doable. There are some holes in the road but nothing close to a pothole. If you drive a little bit further off road the view and place gets even better!

    The RV parking space is in a very idyllic, quiet location right next to a horse farm (Birkenhof Oppin riding facility). It was newly set up in April 2024 and is open from April to October. You can relax very well on the well-kept lawn in the middle of nature, but only about 3 km from the motorway. There is also a truck stop nearby. Dogs are allowed, but please keep them on a leash. Electricity is available from the machine, water and garbage disposal are still being set up. The parking fee is to be paid in cash at the ticket office. We wish you a relaxing stay.
