As always, nice place in middle of woods. spend one night in campervan for total permit cost of £7
Début de la Three Lochs Forest Drive. Table de pique-nique. Parking en pleine nature avec seulement quelques emplacements plats. Superbe point de vue sur les montagnes des alentours. Inconvénient : peut-être venté. Avantage : plus il y a de vent, moins il y a de midges.
Beginning of Three Lochs Forest Drive. Picnic table. Parking in the heart of nature with only a few flat spaces. Superb view of the surrounding mountains. Disadvantage: maybe windy. Advantage: the more wind, the less midges. Note: The entrance to “Three Lochs Forest Drive” is through this parking. It’s a one way road ~7 miles long, 10mph speed limit, that winds it’s way through the forest and around the lochs (road gate closes at 4pm).
Am Anfang der Three Lochs Forest Drive. Picknicktisch. Parkplatz in Wald-Heide Landschaft mit wenigen geraden Stellplätzen. Super Ausblick auf die umliegenden Berge. Nachteil: kann windig sein. Vorteil: je windiger desto weniger Midges.
Inicio de Three Lochs Forest Drive. Mesa de picnic. Aparcamiento en plena naturaleza con pocas plazas llanas. Magnífica vista de las montañas circundantes. Desventaja: puede hacer viento. Ventaja: cuanto más viento hay, menos mosquitos hay.

Becceh08/11/2022Site after the gate was closed for winter unfortunately but we parked up in the first camper bay before the gate and walked down to Loch Drunkie. Lovely walk, not disturbed in the night. Nice and quiet. Some signal on 3 and Smarty.

Around 10 motorhomes places, couple of picnic tables, no facilities, nice view ;-)) for overnight stay you need to obtain permit - online £4 - very easy - you’ll get a dedicated spot

Quiet during the night and morning, but a few cars until about 10:00pm. Not many level spaces but managed to level up with large ramps. Good reception with O2 and Vodafone. dja77123/10/2021Great spot, good mobile signal (EE/Voda). Windy spot but it is quite high and exposed. No facilities, so take your litter home please. A few level spots but most on inclines.

Not the best parking spot (not much of a view) but we walked 1 minute up to the viewpoint up the hill to eat dinner and view from there is amazing

jpg.rocky12/07/2019Some very nice locations around the lochs, some better than others. You pay £2 for day time parking and another £3 for one of the slots. Gate is locked at 4pm but if you get a permit you get the lock code. Some nice walks around the area.

Nous avons payé les 3 livres pour l’entrée, et ça valait le coup. Beaux emplacements et pas de passage, on avait l’impression d’avoir le parc pour nous. (Peut se faire en direct sur internet)

If you pay for the access (2£), there are many very nice places to stop along the Three Lochs Forest drive! Very beautiful!!

Superbe vue. Parking accessible à toute heure (contrairement au chemin qui fait le tour)
