Este aparcamiento NO es gratis ya, hay carteles en los que pone: coches 6€ - campers 12€. Nosotros fuimos a partir de las 18h y bajamos un momento a hacer fotos (sin pagar) y nadie nos dijo nada...

Free parking next to Predjama castle. Those who run the paid car park put a sign at the entrance directing you to their car park. But just behind, there is a free parking that we have found almost empty.

species8418/08/2023Staff at the parking has been very unhelpful and impolite. There is a sign specifying motorhomes could park except from 21:00 to 8:00. As soon as I park a guy with a blue badge came a shouted at me "go away". I explained why I parked and the sign at the entrance and he shouted again " go away". Down the road I found a parking for which I paid 10 euros after my visit to the castle.

Parking gratuit si on dit au garde qu’on ne visite pas le château mais qu’on va juste le voir de l’extérieur.

if you tell to the man at entranve, that you will go only look on the castle, and dont go inside. you will not pay parking
IrisBrink02/07/2023People behind the ticket desk are also in on it and will tell you that parking has to be paid for, but they find it hard to clearly tell you which parking. When we left, the upper parking was almost empty because the entry was blocked by a sign directing you to the paid parking lot.

We first pulled up and looked like it was blocked off with a metal bollard. So continued down road. The people in hi vis said it was €10 to park. We left and came back. i risked driving past bollard. They didn’t stop me and never came up. Appeared to be free to park with only a sign for overnight not allowed. Looks like they put the bollard there to try and make you used the paid parking! We only parked during the day to visit castle.
fairytales04/10/2022unglaublich aber wahr... die stellen sich jetzt weiter oben hin somit keine Möglichkeit mehr an denen vorbei zu kommen ohne zu zahlen... an der Ticketkasse hab ich nachgefragt... es gibt scheinbar keine kostenlose Parkplätze... ob das stimmt fragen wir uns immer noch. Frechheit bei diesen Eintrittspreise.

Die meinen wenn sie zwei Poller aufstellen hält uns das auf. In Deutschland nennt man das gefährlichen Eingriff in den Straßenverkehr. Hat uns nicht aufgehalten.
