Great spot, not in anyone's way. Flatter part a little further along road but only a small slope generally and would be fine anywhere. Space for 10 vans along whole road if no cars were there. Good public toilets about 10 min walk but everything is downhill from where you are, lots of hill to get back to the van! Some passing traffic but nothing major and quiet after 10pm generally.

We were visiting family in the town and enjoyed a couple of pints and just walked up the hill after. It is a steady old hill tho from the town!! I kept one wheel just on the kerb and the van was virtually perfectly level. Got back to the van at 9pm and not 1 vehicle passed us before we went to sleep. Very sheltered with the trees either side and woke up to the sound of the waves crashing below. 5*

yep, good spot. we live near here and cycle past often. great for a quiet night. just don't rely on it during peak season when it's completely full with visitors cars most of the time. out of season it's great. Most spaces are not overlooked by houses either.

only on the side of the road but marked spaces with no restrictions. there's about 20 spaces and it's well lit at night and very quiet and safe. a walk to the town for shops and bars etc but coming back is all uphill! a few spots have stunning views through the trees to the water. any size camper is fine but don't go down into the town with anything bigger than say about 6m. it gets very narrow
