The Parking belongs to the Hotel! There is a restraining order for this Parking. If you stay, you Pay…(you can Pay your fine at the Hotel or the Campground next to it). It’s that easy, Signs are displayed everywhere. Basic rules in Switzerland, just stick to them and accept it. Poor planning of a Camping trip does not permit for illegal overnight stays in most parts of Switzerland…
Ne surtout pas rester là nuit, le terrain appartient au camping et le propriétaire se pointe le matin pour verbaliser. 50CH à payer au camping si vous rester. Pour la journée horodateur 1ch/heure
Arrived at this car park early to go for a hike (around 6:45am) paid for and displayed a ticket. A man came to the car and started questioning me about how my sleep was assuming I camped there and continued asking if I was sure that I didn’t camp there. He proceeded to look around at all the cars in the car park and taking pictures of number plates/ leaving notes on cars. Unsure if authority.
Top als Ausgangspunkt für eine Wanderung ins das hintere Lauterbrunnental. Preislich voll in Ordnung 8 Franken für 10 Stunden. Der Parkautomat hat bei uns nicht funktioniert aber das Hotel nebenan hilft gerne. Für ausdauernde Wanderer empfiehlt sich die große Tour rund ums Tal, 19km.
Fairly big (not as big as the parking near the lift) and some shady areas. It is patrolled in the summer, so make sure you pay (coins only). You can ask the hotel for change if you need it. You can leave your van over night only if you’re hiking and sleeping elsewhere (on the mountain), but you should put a note clearly stating that you’re hiking for x days. Cheaper than parking at lift.
Buen parking para pasar el día. Muchas rutas de senderismo alrededor. Continuando la carretera se coge un camino andando con varias cascadas en unos 3 km.
