Easy access for any size van. There are 15 grassy pitches with a large car park next door. Most of the car parks in tintagal allow overnight parking. very quiet at night unless you have a neighbour who wants to start and run there van for half hour at the crack of dawn before leaving.

  • 5/5

Great facility, parked here, chippy right across the road, or if you prefer the Kings Arms right at the entrance.

  • 5/5

A fantastic stop over. getting very popular now. And can see why. Now with toilets and toilet disposal at a price. 5pm to 11 am for a fiver. Bargain.

  • 5/5

Came in pitch black and woke to be surrounded by lots of vans. Very nice area and £5 for a night cannot complain. Toilet block do take cards 50p and so does pay machine currently but id advise to bring change just in case. Gets really busy during day but starts getting a lot quieter when evening kicks in!

  • 4/5

Fine for the night, good location for Tintagel Castle, which is worth a visit, or can go to Merlins cave for free. Busy bit car park big so plenty of room. Toilets 50p, showers misleading, have to pay 50p to enter then more for shower but only coins! Pub is nice, good food. £5 to stay for night until 11am.

  • 5/5

Stayed last night, very quiet, lots of campers. Plenty of space. £5 from 5pm-11am. Can pay £4 to empty chemical toilet (just go to office and call number in window)…. Ate at King Arthur, food very good. Would highly recommended this stop!

  • 4/5

Stayed last night. Loads of space and only very slightly sloping. They are currently working on adding a smart looking camper van specific area and have new loos (50p slots), showers (50p slots) and water. In the car park of the pub but it is so large that where the vans are it is perfectly quiet.

  • 5/5

Very large campervan friendly car park. stayed twice here (£5 per night covering 5pm to 11am) and both nights were peaceful and quiet. There are toilet and shower facilities but these were not open when we stayed (early March 2024). King Arthur pub is immediately next to the car park for a drink. It did get busy on a Saturday night (20 campers/caravans) but it's a large car park so no issues.

  • 5/5

Nice level car park to spend the night. Next to the pub and an easy walk to shops, cafes and the pub. Cost was £5 overnight (5pm - 11am). There were a few other vans but plenty of room.

  • 4/5

Everything was just fine...no frills but did the job

  • 5/5

    £5 a night bargain .. wasn’t bad at all..loads of room..

  • 4/5

Ci siamo rimasti 3 notti (25-28 agosto 2023). No carico acqua. Vicino piccolo market Spar e lavanderia.

  • 5/5

Stayed here 2 nights this week then made a mistake to travel up the coast where park ups was not as good . The pub and the locals are so nice in that pub and made me feel welcome when I was on my own. Best place I’ve stayed in Cornwall in my camper

  • 5/5

    £5 overnight. Undisturbed. Excellent!

  • 4/5

Stayed here 2 separate nights . It is just a car park of course but cheap and with easy access. Tip: to avoid the 50p surcharge for bank card just press the 50p and £1 buttons until total is £5 …….. if you press the £5 button (as I did on first night) it will add 50p, not excessive but cheeky! Night time was very quiet and restful, I would deffo come again :)

  • 5/5

Great car park. Flat. £5 5pm till 10am. Day rate £4. No toilets. Black waste before October only pay cash £4 to owner. Water tap with owners permission. Owners really friendly. Walk to castle within 15 minutes. Will come again

  • 5/5

Another good stay for me. I always stop here on my way up or down Cornwall. Always a good undisturbed night.

  • 5/5

another great stay what a lovely place definitely worth paying a visit to King Arthur's great halls £6 each

  • 5/5

First time staying overnight at this car park and it was very peaceful. Great location within the town and a stones throw from the castle. Still £5 to stay overnight. Tintagel has nailed it with looking after campervans and motorhomes, if only more places were set up like this!

  • 5/5

Great spot, cost us £5 to park all day and then £5 to stop overnight. It’s £5 from 5pm to 11am and the Motorhome parking is every other bay so there’s enough room to be comfortable. The food in the King Arthur pub was great and there are plenty of other pubs, cafes and a chippy as well as a Spar and Premier store. You don’t pay 50p extra for card payments, just use the +50p button to get to £5

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Great stup over with grass parking available which I have been told is new. Quiet and friendly. £5 overnight is 5pm to 11am. Right in the middle of the village

  • 4/5

Stayed here last night. £5 from 5pm until 11am which is really good and you can walk to the headland before leaving. 2 other car parks to stay overnight in, plenty of choice here. The only downside is that the toilets are not open late at all and you need 20p. This is a shame but then most people have their own facilities. Despite a few vans here last night, quiet here.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Brilliant park up, very quiet. £5.00 over night after 5pm. We will definitely use this park up again

  • 5/5

Facile da raggiungere. Economico. Spazioso. No servizi. Visto xò carico acqua. Consiglio.

  • 5/5

Great parkup...£5 for the night..lots of other vans here... I've stopped here before...would again..

  • 5/5

Really nice spot for the night. Plenty of shops to visit and a good walk down to the beach. lots of tourists around and pubs to go in.

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

2nd time we stopped over here on the way down to Newquay, great to be able to access a Stopover in M/Home for a very reasonable fee 5pm -10am £5 very Quiet great Pub will be back. Please Respect & don't leave rubbish hopefully more Areas will pop up to use PS ..don't tell anyone about this .

  • 4/5

We stayed here this week. Good location for all the main pubs/shops & Tintagel Castle. The price is now £5 per day for parking & £5 for overnight parking in campervans/motorhomes. You can pay by card at the machine, it charges you 50p extra. No extra charge for paying with cash. Lots of spaces to park. There was some noise from people leaving the pub on both nights. No facilities like toilets.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

An excellent place to stop and only £5.00 overnight, the town has an abundance of cafes, gift shops and pubs, sadly fish and chip shop didn’t live up to its recommendations ( below average),Lovely walk down to little cove, and Land Rover backup, Definitely recommended and would stop here again if we are ever in the vicinity…Well done Cornwall council for allowing camper vans and Motorhomes

  • 5/5

Perfect campsite for motor homes. We spent one night here. £5 for night from 5pm until 11am. No services on site. Toilet just up the road.

  • 5/5

Spent a couple of nights here. Great spot, next to a good pub. Park up for a fiver if you get there after 5pm.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Guter Aufenthalt, tagsüber sehr voll, gegen Abend still. Sehr zu empfehlen.

  • 5/5

A good place to spend the night for a fair price! Close to pubs, public toilets and rubbish bins. Would stay again. Suitable for all types of vehicles.

  • 5/5

Lovely owner very helpful, had a peaceful sleep and will be back again for sure as live in the county

  • 5/5

Great stop over with access to the village and the castle. Several other camper-vans and motorhomes there when we stopped. Toilets close by, not sure if they’re 24 hours.

  • 5/5

Car park and grass pitched area in car park. £5 overnight by use of paying machine which takes money and card payments. Slight incline on grass area, used blocks. Pub at base of car park, friendly, used their toilets whilst in pub. Good base to visit Tintagel castle approx 5 mins walk down the road, NT Post Office, worth a look. Nice town, plenty to see, eat etc. Would definitely stay again.

  • 5/5

it's changed a bit they have 15 pitches in carpark but as well they have 15 on grass area above all signed larger bays, but only 15 vans it's still £5 for the night great food and pubs across road

  • 4/5

Updating toilet info: nearest public toilets down side of SPAR shop ( Presume these are the 50p ones, think cash only?). Also a large accessible one at the Tintagel Visitor Center, further along main road (just past Premier shop). Costs 20p, only payable by card/phone. Make sure you use the red button to lock the door, green button to unlock! Both toilets seem to open about 7am.

  • 5/5

Parked up for the night in the grassy motor home area of the car park. About 10 vans parked up for the night. Great central location and we had a very quiet night here. Charge for overnight parking was £5 then a further £4 for the day parking. Will definitely use this again

  • 5/5

Can’t go wrong for £5 for the night, either on the tarmac or grass, plenty of space this time of year. The guy came over to help us as we were reading the sign and said we’d be ok to stay until lunch time the next day. Cows next door which are a little noisy but hey ho. No toilets obviously, we went to the pub at the main road and bought some drinks and used theirs, very clean!

  • 5/5

Stayed here for a night, great location, close to town! I had lots of room in the car park very quiet and private.

  • 5/5

Stayed there one night . Nice and quiet, close to all the attractions. Would recommend.

  • 5/5

Stayed here as a solo female during April 2023. Felt very safe. It was school holidays and sunny, during the day the carpark was full, but emptied overnight with just 3/4 campers. I paid online using the parking app. It charges an extra 20p but if you don't have coins it is useful. Brilliant location

  • 3/5

  • 5/5

Lots of spaces… cheap parking. We only stayed for the day but good location for the castle and King Arthur statue. Good 4G.

  • 5/5

Stayed many times at this place. ideally placed and safe. plenty to see and do. highly recommended. pubs she's walks Castle lots to do. walk down to the beach is a must!

  • 5/5

Large car park area. No facilities, but nearby toilets.

  • 5/5

Perfect parkup to visit tintagel. We ended up staying 3 nights and walked to st nectans Glen from here. Loads of ales to choose from in the the king Arthur’s inn. My 4th visit here I think.

  • 5/5

Stayed here for 2 nights while we explored the area. Quiet and peaceful and was left alone... Lovely area for dogs to walk, no bins unfortunately or toilets but that was OK. Plenty of spaces and very van friendly, wish the rest of the UK was like this!.

  • 4/5

Spent the night here £5 car park a bit gritty with rubbish everywhere, was quiet then paid £4 parking for the following day to go around the castle and Merlin’s cave

  • 5/5

Great place for motor homes and campervans overnight parking £5.00 toilets close by, great pubs and good food.

  • 4/5

  • 4/5

Stayed here for one night. it was very quiet and close to town. £5 for overnight seems reasonable and only a short walk to the public loos ! We ate in the pub next door which is dog friendly and food good. Stayed the next day which was £4.

  • 5/5

Extraordinaire.

  • 5/5

Great camping spot. Only £5 for the night. It was very quiet and lovely to park so close to the town

  • 5/5

Lots of space and very level. There’s a friendly man who checks your ticket in the morning. Great place.

  • 3/5

Please note: According to the parking attendant (lovely old chap), the 4 GBP are only for day parking, you have to pay another 5 GBP after 5 pm to stay overnight, making it a total of 9 GBP. The car park on the other side of the pub (before the pub as you come into town) is 8 GBP, much nicer (grass, hedges, feels a little like a camping farm) and much less crowded (coins only, however).

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Great little parkup! We paid £5 all day and night. Close to all the attractions. Basically a carpark, but surrounded by fields with cows so still quite nice. Quiet night, not many other overnight sleepers despite being peak season. The pub running it was nice but food was very expensive

  • 5/5

Finally - after 3 weeks i UK we have come to a city where campers are welcome - even for overnight stay. The city is Tintagel in Cornwall. There are several big parkings and we have payed 5£ to stay overnight. 5pm-10am. A Day ticket cost 4£. Bravo Tintagel, you are doing what the rest of UK should do.

  • 4/5

No facilities and everything shuts early but not bad for £5. Seems popular with other camper vans too. Ideal location.

  • 4/5

Great spot, I ate in the malthouse and it was splendid, pricey posh grub but delightful. Beer was better than the kings arms although the breakfast in the kings was decent.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

A lovely quiet spot that only costs £5 for an overnight stay. Make sure you visit the King Arthur pub for some food too! Signs advise that you must have a self contained unit and you need to park 6m from any other units. There are toilets on the other side of the road that costs 50p.

  • 5/5

Fab spot in the centre of the town. £5.00 overnight until 10am, pay by card. As others say there is a field next door too. Spot on

  • 5/5

Stayed here last week (7/5/22). Great spot. Loads of local pubs and shops. Beautiful village. Would park up on the right hand side of the car park next time, away from the bulk of vans - less chance of being woken up by loud drunk people. No complaints about the car park itself though.

  • 5/5

Just spent 2 very enjoyable nights here! £5 per night/£4 per day. Great location as it’s central to all amenities and Tintagel castle. Breakfast in the King Arthur Pub is delicious. Will definitely return.

  • 5/5

peaceful night, and a stones throw away from the castle.plenty of room for multiple campers

  • 4/5

Overnight parking, reasonable price, toilets are currently open and free of charge in town. A few disrespectful people turning up after midnight and making lots of noise, which isn't the norm (half term time). Also witnessed visitors urinating in the hedge rows. Will stay again on travels back down to South west however, as we always have!

  • 5/5

Came back to this car park again for the 2nd time, No facilities but for £5.00 over night never expected much. Will definitely be back next year for our yearly trip to Cornwall. Highly recommend for an overnight stay.

  • 4/5

Nothing special in terms of views etc but this is exactly what we need more of in the UK, reasonably priced overnight stops in the right places. This is right in the middle of the village, about 500m walk from the castle and within a couple of minutes walk of several pubs, cafés and takeaways. Fairly level, tarmacced, cash or card payment at machines and good 4G coverage.

  • 3/5

this is £9 for day and then night but the field next door is £8 for 10am for 24 hours and nicer due ti the grass - this is just a gravel car park owned by King's Arms. however tintagel gets busy in summer so If there's no space elsewhere this is more than good enough for a night.

  • 4/5

This is a good park up camper friendly in all parking except council run. Flat plenty 0f room £5 overnight.

  • 4/5

What a fab place. Ok it’s a car park, but Having travelled through Cornwall where motor homes are not welcome anywhere it seems, Tintagel has a couple of places to park where Motorhomes are very much welcome. In return we bought from the local shops and ate lunch and dinner in the local restaurant/pub. Sone lovely walks here too. Thankyou Tintagel for the warm welcome.

  • 5/5

Huge car park with drinking water from the tap on the wall in the field (apparently the field is used for camping in the summer). Easy access to walk to the beach with Merlin’s cave and the castle. Public toilets were all closed when we were there (2 nights in Jan) - they could be a seasonal thing?

  • 4/5

A rare find these days, a car park that allows overnight sleeping. £5, hard standing, flat, quiet and great to know not going to get moved on. feels safe as a lone female and full phone signal/WiFi pub next-door

  • 4/5

Great for a car park, very peaceful

  • 5/5

Great. No issues. Stayed Dec 2021

  • 5/5

stayed 3 nights, very safe lots of mh and campers staying, £5 per night £4 daytime nice assortment of shops including hardware for gas within walking distance and castle too was able to use water hose at pub, no cassette facilities during winter, good food in pub, will use again

  • 4/5

Stayed here many of times, such a easy and lovely little stop over. £5 for campers between 5pm - 10am then additional £4 for all day the following day. Ticket machine is now contactless and you can pay by a parking app.

  • 5/5

Fantastic car park it was £5 a night and that was 5pm-10am. The pub staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent all freshly cooked. We went back for breakfast in the morning. We would definitely stay there again.

  • 5/5

Stayed here end of last month with around 20 other campers very nice central location but also quiet the King Arthur Arms served great food with a wide selection of drinks all at reasonable prices. Would recommend a more sheltered spot in the car park if windy though.

  • 5/5

Stayed all day and overnight. £4 All day till 5pm then £5 overnight till 10am. Only snag is the cassette emptying facility is only through mid summer. Public toilet 100m up the road behind the Spar shop but there’s cctv and lots of NO MH toilet emptying. Lovely food in the King Arthur pub!!

  • 5/5

Stayed last night. £4.00 all day & £5 overnight. Motorhomes welcome. Very quiet overnight but very busy during the day. Either get there early or arrive after 5pm

  • 5/5

£5 5pm-10am. £4 all day. Massive car park with grassed motor home area. Portaloo with £3 donation for chemical waste. Public toilets just 2 minute walk up the road. Amazing spot!

  • 4/5

Very nice place, lots of parking to the rear £5 a night and a tap on site, very quiet at night

  • 5/5

Woke up to a nice view of cows and hills, next to a gorgeous pub that does the best full English, weren’t interrupted or spoken to at all. Few dog walkers but everyone minds their business! Pubs open till 11pm as well so if you wanna keep the sesh going a bit longer, you can! There was about 12 other campers so felt safe, and if you go right to the back you won’t be seen at all. £4 all night. Ace

  • 5/5

Great overnight parking for £5. Loads of spaces. Pay machine. 1700 until 1000. Cheap day parking also and discount if you eat in the kings Arthurs pub. Next to amenities. Public toilet block 2 mins away for 50p. Facility for emptying waste for £3 charge on site.

  • 5/5

Stopped overnight for £5, was quiet and peaceful. Lovely walk down to the beach to watch the sunset. Pub nearby for food and free toilets to use up until 8pm.

  • 5/5

Lovely town nice to see so many car parks welcome camper very reasonably priced ...lovely fish and chips opposite ...

  • 5/5

Arrived here yesterday evening - met fellow Motorhomers! Great night’s sleep - just paid for day, so we can visit castle etc. Recommend

  • 5/5

Great park up for the night. Would definitely use again. Near toilets, which were open and free to use until around 8pm.

  • 5/5

It's now £5 a night and the machines take card payment .. YAY!! It's flat and good access .. (coaches use it too) .. parking times for the £5 are 5pm to 10am

  • 5/5

Bargain for an overnight stop. Good pub food.

  • 4/5

Turn right by King Arthur pub. Large carpark. Bays for Motorhomes at the far right end. £5 overnight until 10am. Card accepted at machines. The municipal car park just before it is £8 for 24hrs and on grass in the overflow, so take you pick.

  • 5/5

Loveless people, very helpful. Had a meal in pub, very good food. will stop again if in the area.

  • 5/5

Very large car park no facilities. The public toilets nearby cost 50p with CCTV so no toilet emptying allowed. Quiet night in April. We enjoyed three nights would highly recommend The King Arthur’s Great Halls get the curator talking so much knowledge.

  • 5/5

£4 a night doesnt say times of when you have to leave. it's very flat. and easy to get to in a very big motorhome like mine.

  • 5/5

Tintagel is a beautiful town. Overnight £4. You will need £1 coins for the machine. Parking in town and ideal for exploring.

  • 5/5

Perfect for self contained campervan not so good for a roof tent felt a bit obvious, £4, with a pub next door

  • 5/5

Brilliant! Level parking and pub helpful for change, decent food too. possibly up to 20 campervan of different sizes, quiet stay.

  • 3/5

Flat hard standing car park which allows motor homes to stay overnight. Very quiet in October at night, but during the day it still gets very busy. £4 to park overnight from 5pm to 10am. You must have coins for the machine.

  • 4/5

£4 to stay 5pm to 10am. Avoid using 2 bays by putting overhang over grass. Pub has good food and beer. Very convenient location.

  • 5/5

As stated flat carpark £4 per night. right in middle of the village. perfect

  • 5/5

Stopped here on my own and felt safe. the car park next door (mayfair....shown as fore Court on the app) looked nicer as its on grass but I'd paid before looking around.

  • 4/5

Great stop for the night. only £4. All the campers parked to the rear of the carpark. felt safe and a very quiet place. lovely pub called King Arthur adjacent to the carpark where we had a nice evening meal.

  • 5/5

Excellent place for an overnight stop! Shame the sea mist had come in and we hadn’t booked for the castle which was fully booked. Bloody COVID-19

  • 5/5

Great place to park was a little noise but you know it's safe, get up early and drive to the sea frount free parking all day!

  • 4/5

Nice place £4 to stay the night no facilities

  • 3/5

No facilities but peaceful parkup and great access to Tintagel castle.

  • 5/5

£4 from 5pm to 10am. peaceful night. level car park with pub on it which opens at 9am for breakfast even on a sunday. lovely walk down to the beach where there is a cafe. quite steep so the walk back was hard but there is a pub at the end of it so all is good. I heard the guide saying that the walk is not good for buggies.

  • 4/5

Gd spot for all night parking only 4 pounds ,display ticket in window chap walks around in the morning checking but is very nice guy. Ticket runs out at 10 am

  • 5/5

Brill car park stayed here for one night only £4 from 17:00 till 10:00 the following morning. Will defo stay again in the near future.

  • 5/5

Parking motorhome tonight, landlord very helpful, great value food. Only £4 from 5pm overnight.

  • 5/5

£4 5pm-10am had a peaceful night, but only 2 other campers here. £3.90 all day rate Pub nice, food good, staff lovely and helpful ?

  • 5/5

Stayed last night, great stopover, didn't quite understand the payment meter, put £4 in at 2.15 left at 8.30 next morning. Don't think it's £4 for 24hrs, maybe it's changed.

  • 3/5

£4 for the night, fairly level. Very exposed to wind. Bit loud and busy, near houses and pub. Public toilets nearby (behind Spar shop), £0.50 to go in and closed at night.

The town was great, really quirky interesting shops with a real community feel. Pub food was ok, but the biggest shame was that despite all the good reviews I had read, when we visited it looked a bit like a messy travellers site. Rubbish left outside and it just had a bad vibe. Maybe it was just a one off because this doesn’t seem in keeping with all the other reviews

Great location in the centre of Tintagel. Car park can be very busy during the day, so best to arrive early or late in peak season. £4 to park overnight until 10am the next morning.

  • 5/5

Brilliant little village, very welcoming. Great car park smack bag in the middle of the village. Pubs, restaurants and public toilets a few hundred yards. Very quiet this time of year, castle and most of the shops closed, but great coastal walks. We ate at the Cornishman pub, basic pub grub but good portions and reasonably priced.

  • 5/5

Water available on tap by garages on the right as you come in £4 for 24 hrs from time you buy the ticket clean carpark lovely friendly pub no facilities but if you use the pub then they allow you to use the toilets if not then it’s 50p. Quiet night sleep well worth the money. Chip shop opposite carpark also well worth the money and local shops

I'll echo the other reviews in that this is a great stop over. We paid £4 for 24 hours when we arrived mid afternoon. No disturbances overnight and even had a couple of other vans for company.

  • 5/5

Nice spot with lots of space. shops and pubs very close too.

  • 4/5

Stopped here last weekend and it's great. Plenty of room (30 ?). There is a large adjoining grassed area for campers. It's right in the middle of the village and all the pubs, shops and cafés. The important little detail is that the £4 charge is for 24 hours and not overnight. This means that depending when you arrive, there should be no immediate early morning panic to top up your ticket.

Great spot in the centre of town with many great pubs and shops around. Only £4 for campers for 24 hours ! Even has grass area or designated tarmac spaces for campers. Great value !

Good place to stay overnight. Even places on the meadow. not far to Tintagel castle, delicious meals in the King Arthur's Pub.
