I pulled up here late in the evening & was looking forward to waking up here based on comments, but there are now yellow cones with do not stop here signs. As there were no other cars or vans I didn’t feel confident being the only van to stop. Opted for a spot by industrial road instead. Shame!

We arrived at night and there was plenty of spaces and bins around to sort your van out. Right next to the castle and small park. Only issue is as its a busy road space there is car and people noise.
