No overnight stays. No parking between midnight and 6am. Great free spot for the day though. Good access to the beach and grassy area. Good 4G and nice views over Weymouth and Portland. A couple of cafes nearby.
Ce parking gratuit en bordure de route est situé dans un endroit calme, avec un parking premier arrivé, premier servi. Nous sommes arrivés en milieu d'après-midi et il y avait beaucoup d'espace pour un certain nombre de véhicules de la taille d'un camping-car. C'est un point de vue élevé avec une vue imprenable sur Weymouth, Portland et loin sur la mer. Accès facile à une grande pelouse avec banquette. La plage est à quelques pas et aurait un accès facile pour lancer des pédalos, des kayaks, etc. Local à un certain nombre de fish and chips et autres dépanneurs. Il y a une salle de jeux et une petite fête foraine près de la plage, ce qui est bien pour les enfants. Les restrictions de stationnement sont de minuit à 6h du matin. Il y a un parking payant à proximité et qui ferme à 19h.
This roadside free parking is in a quiet spot, with first come, first served parking. We arrived mid afternoon and there was plenty of space for a number of camper van sized vehicles.
It's a high vantage point with awesome views of Weymouth, Portland and far out to sea.
Easy access to large grassed area with bench seating. The beach is a very short walk and would have easy access for launching paddle boats, kayaks etc.
Local to a number of fish and chip and other convenience shops. There is an amusement arcade and small funfair near the beach, which is good for children.
Parking restrictions are from midnight to 6am. There is a pay car park close by and that closes at 7pm.
Dieser kostenlose Parkplatz am Straßenrand befindet sich an einem ruhigen Ort, mit Parkplätzen, die zuerst kommen, mahlen zuerst. Wir kamen am Nachmittag an und es gab viel Platz für eine Reihe von Fahrzeugen in Wohnmobilgröße. Es ist ein hoher Aussichtspunkt mit fantastischer Aussicht auf Weymouth, Portland und weit hinaus aufs Meer. Einfacher Zugang zur großen Rasenfläche mit Sitzbänken. Der Strand ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt und bietet einfachen Zugang zum Starten von Tretbooten, Kajaks usw. In der Nähe befinden sich eine Reihe von Fish and Chips und andere Convenience-Shops. Es gibt eine Spielhalle und einen kleinen Vergnügungspark in der Nähe des Strandes, was gut für Kinder ist. Die Parkbeschränkungen gelten von Mitternacht bis 6 Uhr morgens. Es gibt einen kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz in der Nähe, der um 19:00 Uhr schließt.
