Spent the quietest night in Portugal so far. Ash is a very accommodating host. Great views and a memorable place. Bumpy road in I wouldn't recommend it for larger motorhomes.

bobmartin11/05/2023I was on my last part of the journey, traveling around and looking for the possibility of buying some land. I got stuck in this really nice place a lot longer than my plan was. Ash showed me around and I met lots of nice people through Ash, who is already like a friend to me. He even set me up with someone through who I found my dream land close to here! Lovely dog and lovely people around

Ash the perfect guide to introduce you the region. Not that it needs mentioning, he is also extra helpfull and has the most peoplefriendly dog I have met. My boy is 16months and I was not ever 1second worried. I could lower my guard. Really nice off grid place to stay. Please call him in advance to get the exact pin off his location when you arrive at his road. It’s an adventurous continuation.

Ash is a lovely guy, very helpful. the land is beautiful and worth the truck into the Campo. would completely recommend if you want to experience the real off grid wildness of the area.

sankman21/05/2022We had a fantastic night at The Rock Plateau. We arrived on a Monday which we were happy to find was Movie Night!! They had a projector screen set up inside a huge marquee, us and the kids had a great time watching Kong Skull Island. I was even more pleased to find that the owner and his partner had built a Pallet bar inside with plenty of cold beers. There was also a great pool table.
