Arrived here at about 11:30pm. Was stormy when we arrived so wind was mental being there's no cover from any direction. Was quiet untill about 1am where some people turned up in a car playing music loudly till about 2am. Looks nice during the day but wouldn't stay again. Also loads of rubbish around, probably from the guys that turned up at 1.
stayed here 3 nights. headed there early on bonfire night. loads of cars turned up to set off fireworks so had a good display right behind the van. lovely walks and views around here. Nice and quiet.
vue extraordinaire. Des jeunes sont venus jusqu'à minuit mais étaient discrets. Par contre, cela a beaucoup circulé cette nuit, et même très vite (au milieu des moutons) et certains sont passés en klaxonnant. La circulation a recommencé vers 5 h. Pourtant la route est étroite et il faut utiliser les passing place pour se croiser. Lieu très sale avec des sacs poubelles éventrés
Do not drive up here ! just wanted to post a warning to others. We are used to driving up small lanes in our motorhome and regularly do but this road is too narrow to get through without scratching and damaging your van. We came up here today and the road went from being your standard narrow lane to practically impassable as i rounded one bend this resulted in the rear bumper getting caught.
Beautiful spot to park and walk or spend the night as we did. Visited on a Monday night no problems. I'd recommend using the road from Penprysg (Minffrwd Road) as the other roads are very narrow, especially if you are driving a coach built motorhome, camper vans not such an issue.
Verbrachten eine ruhige Nacht mit einer tollen Aussicht. Der Boden ist etwas schräg kann aber ausgeglichen werden.
Nice spot to spend the night, lovely view and exposed to the wind. Got here Saturday night 11pm after leaving a previous spot with same issues. It looks like this region in the weekend is where the locals come to smoke pot... 2 people at 11.15pm came to smoke and at 1pm 1 car with loud music and more smokers... no one bothered us, but you never know. I wouldn't recommend the weekend.
