Lots of places to park, beautiful views over the solent. The disadvantage is the boy racers in their cars. They rock up all hours of the night, deliberately park next to campervans and blast their music as loud as they can. Nothing you can do about it but not nice to be woken at 2-3am by them
Stopped here for a freshen up and a brew before getting on ferry in Portsmouth. Was only here for a few hours but was glad as very noisy with boy racer cars and loud engines. However, it was worth the stop for the spectacular views even at night it was beautiful. Would stop again but would definitely not stay overnight.

Nice spot with amazing views. Very busy until very late. Lots of lads and lasses with ‘hot’ cars and bikes in the evening. Last one arrived at 2.10am! Between two busy roads so plenty of road noise. Excellent for a daytime stop. It was handy for me as a stopgap stop on my journey but it wouldn’t be my first choice of overnight stop. Although the views…!
stayed 2 nights great views , road noise at rush hour but we used to road noise .local youngsters can get noisy but they do quieten down . we had no issues ,the views far out way anything
Not a place I'd recommend unless you're into boy-racers or the dogging fraternity! Fantastic views over Portsmouth without a doubt, but you're not going to get a good night's sleep one way or the other.
Great view over Portsmouth, no height barrier. No services except a litter bin and quite noisy roads either side of car park but certainly good enough for an overnight stop. Edit Very noisy young people up there beeping horns, revving cars, shouting etc etc. Nice stop for couple hours but not for sleeping. Ended up leaving at 10pm.
