Parked here for the night no problems bit noisy with traffic but it died down after 12
Stationnement dans la rue sur le bal, aucun signe indiquant aucune restriction. Pratiquement en face d'un pub et d'un chippy à 3 minutes à pied. la circulation est un peu bruyante mais se calme à 23h30 vue mer.

no signs showing any restrictions. Virtually opposite a pub and chippy 3mins walk away. traffic is bit noisy but quietens down by 11:30pm

Auf der Straße parken auf dem Abschlussball keine Schilder mit Einschränkungen. Praktisch gegenüber einer Kneipe und 3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Der Verkehr ist etwas laut, beruhigt sich aber um 23:30 Uhr mit Meerblick.

NeilKeeble01/03/2024Free on street parking, plenty of eateries and pubs. Gizmos in Albert Road is great for pizza, half price every day between 4 - 5pm
Richarddbarker17/02/2024Great views of the bay, sea and sunsets. Close to everything on the seafront. I'd recommend a visit to the art deco Midland Hotel. The big downside is the constant traffic noise. Maybe a small break from 2am to 6am. The rest of the time its relentless, including a couple of locals repeatedly beeping their horns as they passed at 8am. Would do a day stop but never again overnight.
Sko02/11/2023Leuke en handige plek voor een bezoekje aan de stad. Door het lawaai van de straat vannacht de oordopjes in gehad. Helaas hebben wij daardoor niet gemerkt dat onze fiets (met 2 dikke kabelsloten vastgemaakt) van de camper is gejat.

Stayed here for two nights. You do get a little bit of road noise but your parked on a main road so what do you expect. 5 minute walk to the arcades and pubs etc and directly opposite the beach. For a roadside park up you can’t really moan and it’s free. I counted 24 motorhomes/caravans parked up here tonight so must be a common stop
onedogonecheiftain28/08/2023Free parking 24/7. Road is busy, but really not too bad. Much prefer parking near Aldi then further along the prom towards Bare, where the road is narrower and the cars are faster. Amazing bite to wake up to, sit in the doorway with a coffee and enjoy.

Spent a day and overnight here when I was taking part in Morecambe parkrun. It is a busy road but we still felt that this did not take away from the positive points. Parking both day and night is free. It’s lovely views and we had fabulous walk all along traffic free promenade to Heysham. Aldi and Morrisons both easy walking distance as are most amenities.

Esta al lado de la carretera con lo cual todos los vehículos pasan a tu lado. Pero es un sitio tranquilo para dormir y donde habían muchas camper más.

I used to live in Lancaster so know the area very well! The whole of the promenade is OK for overnight parking I even phoned the police to check when I was first traveling in my MH! Lovely waking up to the view of Morecambe Bay!

Cracking stopover on sea front, 5 or 6 other motorhomes along same stretch, (don't take the proverbial) I.E no table and chairs just enjoy morecambe for wot it is, a lovely place to spend a day or to, lots of food & drink up & down front, aldi & Morrisons just across road, town centre 10mins walk, defo come back

Great spot to park on the side next to the prom. yes can be noisy, but it quieten down around 1030 . Food places, supermarkets, Pub close by and safety in numbers.

parking is free good spot with no problems 10 mins into town bus stop close by lancaster by bus 20 mins
