We had a mostly peaceful night for our first ever 'wild camp' campervan experience. A car visited the car park in. the evening with 6 teenagers and sat around. They seemed to be chatting and eating chocolate (from the wrappers left) but may have been smoking as well. After a while the car left and the remaining teenagers wandered off. We didn't have any trouble. Quiet rest of the night.

Great location for small vans as there is a 2m height barrier. no facilities at the nature reserve but its only a 5 minute walk into the town centre & there are plenty shops pubs & public toilets . parked up late Friday afternoon and was a bit wary of it being a hang out spot as so close to town, nothing to worry about as it was all quiet

Bon emplacement proche de la ville à pied. barrière à 2m. nous avons passé une nuit calme. je recommande

Was some work being completed and barrier wasn’t locked. Was able to enter in my van which is over 2m high. It’s a good little spot though and worth the overnighter if successful

For me it was perfect, came there twice. But I confirm there's now a height barrier, 2m.

Beautiful secluded spot,so quiet, just the sounds of the birds singing. If you decide to try it, don't forget to take your rubbish to the bin by the path. We need to look after these places UPDATE:Was approached by a very nice gentleman from the local council saying that motorhome camping is not allowed, they are waiting a new height barrier. He was very polite and nice about it and so we moved.

The height barrier has been removed at the entrance. Nothing but a parking lot, very quiet and a nice walk around the Cob.

Height barrier so no good for us.
