Front de mer, pratiquement plat. Pas de service. Cette nuit la mer était très agitée et bruyante, plus un vent violent. Pas de passage de voitures la nuit, et des avions le soir et le matin. Nous étions 5 CC. Sinon, tout va bien...
Spent a peaceful night here during the week, slightly sloped but nothing to worry about.
Nice spot, but it’s worth keeping an eye on the weather/tides etc as it’s prone to flooding. We arrived around 6pm, and by midnight the waves had almost reached the van so we decided to move somewhere else.

Schöner Platz an der Hafenpromenade mit Blick auf das Meer. Abends stark frequentiert durch Beobachter der Nachtstart- und Landungen der RAF - Flugzeuge. Um kurz vor Mitternacht war dann aber Ruhe. Platz ist kostenlos, eine Spende kann im nahegelegenen Café abgegeben werden.
We had a good nights sleep here and the beach walks were great. Lovely views. Can’t wait to return
What an amazing stop over. Right on the sea front. Lovely cafe at one end and quick walk into town for Chinese or a kebab. oh and don't forget the fighter planes landing in front of you over the sea!. Please keep this place available by donating at the café and keeping to the rules.

Très belle vue. Du passage de promeneurs et nous avons eu quelques passages de voitures la nuit ( peut-être parce que c'était samedi soir). Merci à la commune pour la tolérance de stationnement.
Great stop over. Perfect view of RAF jet fighters!! Can stay here for one night free of charge, level carpark and had no hassle throughout the night. Bins available here so please clean up after yourselves. We also picked a Chinese up from the Ocean Pearl that was a 5 minute walk from the park up. The food was incredible, one of the best Chinese takeaways I have had! Highly recommended!!
Très bel endroit pour dormir devant la mer. Proche de la base militaire où pendant la journée passé les avions de chasse. Petite ville avec quelques commerces et restaurants. Le soir les locaux viennent manger une glace dans leurs voitures et plus tard les jeunes avec la musiques un peu forte (jusqu’à 2h du matin). Cependant tres bel endroit pour passer une seule nuit.

Lovely large carpark close to the beach! Great pubs around for dinner and easy to explore the town on foot from this park. Unfortunately we stayed on a Friday night and it was very loud until 2am with people meeting up and playing music. I would say this would be a lovely stop during the week but not Friday/Saturday nights.
Great views and right out of the van onto the beach for a morning dip. We stayed on a Saturday night - quite a lot of noise 11pm-3am from locals meeting up in their cars. If this happens, recommend staying at East Beach for the night.
Die 50 Plätze in der Beschreibung beziehen sich wohl eher auf Pkw, der Platz wird tagsüber stark von Einheimischen frequentiert. Was Monty am 12.4.2023 gesehen hat, weiß ich nicht. Am Ende des Parkplatzes steht auf einem Schild, Wohnmobile dürften für 1 Nacht bleiben, gegen eine Spende im Café. Das war am 13.6.23 allerdings zu und wirkte wie dauerhaft geschlossen. Wir hatten eine ruhige Nacht
Guter Spot für eine Nacht. Jede Menge Platz und es ist relativ ruhig. Morgens wird man vom Meeresrauschen geweckt.
Wunderbarer Platz für eine Nacht. Klasse Aussicht auf den Leuchtturm und den Sonnenuntergang. Parkplatz wird auch von vielen Einheimischen genutzt, immer was los, aber alles war entspannt und ruhig. Die Strandbar hat bis 18.30h warmes Essen, aber bis 23h geöffnet. Direkt am Strand, eignet sich auch perfekt für einen Strandspaziergang. Platz ist sehr zu empfehlen!
I was there last week and there’s sign that you can park for a donation although we parked at the other parking place near the surf school as it was a lot quieter
No overnight parking, there is signage. council thinking of charging people by way of fines or towing away
Ok and great views and sunset spot. Evenings seem to attract noisy youths showing off their cars. Didn’t feel threatening but not peaceful. The small car park ear East Beach is much quieter.
Fantastic views and overnight stops allowed for one night with a small donation. Bins available. No public toilets available but toilets are in the Beach Hut Cafe. Great coffees and food in the cafe also. Great location for a walk into Lossiemouth. Mobile phone reception with no issues. Great sunset and also during the day you get the see jets taking off from the local RAF base.

ottima sosta su parcheggio asfaltato proprio di fronte al mare. bella spiaggia per passeggiate al vicino faro. La sosta notturna è consentita per una notte in cambio di un offerta da depositare in una casetta al bar in fondo al parcheggio.

I stayed here last night. Absolutely no problems. The police drove through at 10pm and waived at me. A few boy racers until about 9pm, but then I expect it was past their bed time, so they left. Rubbish bins available. Great cafe. Nice walk and place to watch the planes taking off from the RAF base. Excellent 4G signal.

Great spot! beautiful view. No trouble. Didnt see a toilet block anywhere, but I arrived at night and left super early.
Beautiful views over the Moray Firth. The coastal path runs past the car park. The car park is very busy during the day with golfers, dog walkers, padel boarders, sandcastle builders etc. Once they have gone in the late afternoon there is plenty of space. please note the beach bar mentioned in other posts no longer exists.

Very quiet and benefits from views across the Firth. Didn’t try the cafe, but the beer in the golf club is very reasonable.

Park at back of beach bar on large grassy hard standing for free. Nice food at bar. Quiet. Good view of Typhoon jets taking off and landing at nearby Lossiemouth. good walking and town centre nearby.
