we've used this spot a few times and been a peaceful and safe place for a night, unfortunately it's been blocked off with big boulders, taped and says no access. doesn't look temporary as the boulders are huge.

Parking is good, nice quiet spot. HOWEVER at 9pm a van arrived. About half an hour the driver lingered behind his car getting in and out of it, later he came and asked, if we were here to “play”…. According to him this place is known for that. After denying this he slowly went back to his van and left. Afterwards we didn’t feel that good about the place.

Believe this parkup is a fab place tho my safety comes 1st as solo. Had I stayed the night I may have given 5* Just come back from a short walk with my pup & noticed a man staring at us whilst sat in his car. man got out of his dark grey car & circled around my moho looking in,he left then came back repeating his actions. Saw his car at the crossroads hovering then reversed Rapidly left

Great place to stop over for the night! Peaceful and quiet, also pretty easy to find. We stayed on a weekday so very quiet and only a couple of bike riders going past early morning,

stayed here for one night, incredibly peaceful with just the birds and the wind in the trees.

nice spot. Don't come from the lane that leads into it from the east. There was a dirt lane for about half a mile that got narrower and ruttier. Come face to face with 5meters of water with what looked like a ledge at the otherside. So got out and assessed it. Decided to go for it slowly getting deeper then the front end dropped and decided to floor it with water brimming over the bonnet.

Very quiet and calm spot next to the woods. There was 2 cars on the morning to walk the dogs otherwise just birds and trees. The place is good size, only minor that you have to climb a bit so older/slower campers might have difficulties. Lovely spot surrounded by nature. No facilities so you have to be self sufficient

Stoped for one I arrived around 9 pm as I was traveling down to Newport and had no bother overnight as other have report it is exposed in the winter wind

Nice quiet spot and very flat, however it was quite close to the road (not a busy road) and there wasn’t much space. We had a nice walk around the forest. No toilet or bins, but we did get signal. Roads are very narrow and windy but managed fine in our T4

Great Park up, no disturbance through out the night. Windy roads to reach it but no issues in our long wheel base.

Lovely and quiet, fairly flat ground with trails nearby, narrow lanes and low trees to get here.. but it’s Wales so what’d you expect

very quiet and dark, unfortunately we parked under the trees so when it rains it was a loud acoustic drip all night. Try keep away from the trees, which is possible. In the morning only a few mountain bikers with no bother. Really peaceful night (except the rain)

One of the best in the area. Small car pack setback from the road. Fairly level. Enough space for 8+m MH. Used only by friendly dog walkers. Very quiet. Good 4G. No bins. Would definitely recommend.

beautiful forest and so quiet only thing I would say is quite earie looking onto the woods at night but if you don't mind that then great place to stop for the night

We stayed for one night with our campervan. It was relatively level, and super quiet. There is woods and a nice trail for walking. A few dog walkers in the morning, who left us alone.

Always slightly sceptical about sites so close to 'civilisation', as they're often blighted by antisocial behaviour. But we stayed here a Friday night in late October and had no problems at all. Beautifully quiet all night, and just the usual dog-walkers in the morning who took no interest in us. Good stop off from the M4 if you're mid-travels.
