stayed here 20.1.24 very peaceful. had a lovely walk the next day along the railway. a couple of other vans there. busy with cars during the day. shame the cafe is closed but there's picnic benches under cover to use.

almost level parking. Great walk from here, there are hides to use if right time of year. busy with dog walkers from early. Did have cars visit CP till 9pm. No idea why, they kept to themselves, not noisy. Cafe has been closed since November - staffing issue. Donation for parking by the entrance to Newt walk. Big bins by entrance to CP. miniature railway place across the road.
Aldiddly113/09/2023Quiet location giving a good night's sleep. Cafe on site with a nice looking menu, open Wednesday to Sunday - ideal for breakfast! (I was there on a closed day sadly...) The trails through the area are lovely, pub 1km down the road. There's an inobtrusive honesty box for parking by an entrance gate; maybe put some coins in to say thanks for letting us park?

A lovely place but you need to be a good sleeper. It is very popular for all kinds of activities early morning and even during the night. We stayed on a Friday night so maybe it’s more popular then. Lovely walking and cycling paths.

Für Wild-Camping ein sehr guter und ruhiger Ort. Ab und zu kommen Leute mit ihrem Hund spazieren, diese scheint es aber nicht zu stören, wenn man dort im Auto übernachtet. Es hat eine Kasse, wo Geld für den Parkplatz hinterlassen werden kann. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und empfehlen den Platz weiter!

Arrived Saturday evening, warm and sunny. Apart from a couple of peeps walking dogs very quiet, joined by another van around 20:00ish and another at 23:00. Two or three cars late on but took their cosmic love making to the other end of the car park. Still worth the 5 stars, bins, cafe and lovely walks. Please leave a donation in the honesty box. Free WiFi in the cafe, low signal in the car park.

Stayed here last night very quiet dog walkers start arriving around 6am but great stop over and great walks and cycle tracks here

Quiet night on Sunday. A few dog walkers in morning. Very handy location close to M4. Remember to put a couple of quid in donations box.

Great overnight spot on way to wales. Arrived at 10pm - quiet. Morning dog walkers arrived but we cd walk ours along a track straight from the van. Left by 10am. Lots of space - we were in our 7m long Crafter.
Horbach25/07/2022Ich hatte zwei ruhige Nächte. Kommen viele Besucher, deshalb bitte platzsparend parkieren! Vorsicht: Montags und Dienstags ist die Toilette nicht offen, auch der Browniestand nicht.

perfect night stop with bins and toilets, brownie trailer on site permanently with great choice of sweet bits, tea and coffee lovely stop over.

Great spot. Very quite at night. Good dog walking area. Visitors Center opens at 10am with a cafe and toilets. There is a bin and parking is free but there is a donation box for parking. Great to see wildlife.
