Goede plaats om te overnachten. Zeer leuke golfdisc aan de overkant in het park. Je kan gratis discs halen aan het infobord bij de oprit.(met dank aan Inverness golf disc club). Geen voorziening. 10 euro per nacht.

Great place to park. The £10 is optional. Very quiet from 8pm-7am. 40mins from town centre and 15 from ness island. There is free frisbee golf over the road and there are taps along the canal and public toilets in Whin Park. It’s not the prettiest but it’s a great stop over. Would recommend:)

Ok so it's just a car park with bins but beautiful walks, if you've emptied & filled, it's a perfect spot we spent a quiet night here.

we hebben hier 2 nachten gestaan. je mag betalen maar het hoeft niet, eigen keuze dus. Er is een prima 4G verbinding en in een half uur loop je naar het stad centrum. Er is een park om de hond uit te laten en beide nachten stonden we met ongeveer 10 campers.

Big car park with a few other motorhomes. Nice walk along the canal. If you read the sign they invite you to pay, it also says there are no penalties for not paying. We paid as we filled up with water and dumped waste at Drumnadrockit visitors centre and had no change for the honesty box.

In Ordnung für eine Nacht, großer Parkplatz mit viel Platz aber der Preis ist meiner Meinung nach etwas zu teuer, kein Service etc. Trotzdem haben wir die Nacht ohne Probleme verbracht.

Road noise all night ,then the gulls started on the bins .

Perfect stopover for a night. close to the shops and lovely walks around. As always, leave no trace and also, leave space. No need to park on top of each other, plenty of room here. There is an invitation to pay. road noise continues through the night, so don't park roadside if you're a light sleeper. Great place to stay overnight and often other vans here with likeminded people. You aren't actually required to pay, if you read the small sign next to the main one it says invitation to pay. So pay if you're feeling generous I guess. Not far from the centre only 20 mins ish

Stayed here last night to visit friends in the Premier Inn across the road & use the Beefeater restaurant/pub. Plenty of space to park, the only facilities were a general waste & a recycling bin. Road traffic noise died away at night & blinds kept out the very bright floodlights illuminating the whole parking area. After heavy rain all day the place was full of very large puddles.

Great park up run by the council. Only down side was no facilities and you are not allowed to cook or set-up outside. There is a bar just across the road and a leisure centre 10mins walk away. They charge £3.80 for the use of showers and toilets. I will definitely use it again and a tip is not park close to the road as the traffic does continue through the night.

Great stopover, felt very safe with about 8 other campervans there. Plenty of space to find your own little bit. Bit of muffled traffic noise in morning but was just grateful it was here and will definitely be using again.

Un peu éloigné du centre ville d’inverness, il faut au moins 30 voir 40 mn pour y aller en longeant le fleuve Ness, et découvrir les îles. Très grand parking très proche d’un départ de croisière sur le loch Ness mais aussi très proche d’un rond point donc plutôt assez bruyant à cause des véhicules qui passent. C’est par contre vue le prix une bonne alternative pour passer une nuit a pas cher (5£)

Nice flat large loose stone car park - nice walk around new park next to road entrance - watched lads playing Disc Golf using frisbees? - says £10 to park overnight but we could only put in max £4.00 which was for 24 hours - lots of dog walkers and we felt safe with no issues

Sol plat, 3£ pour 12h, calme si on se gare du côté de l’entrée du parking car le rond point est assez passant même à 23h. Café/resto juste en face. Pas de services ni sanitaires mais proche des écluses et d’un espace vert.

Flat site right next to the Caledonian Canal. A short walk to the River Ness and into the Town Centre. Another 8 motorhomes on the site whilst we were here. Beefeater Restaurant opposite. Would come back.

Contrairement à certains commentaires le stationnement n’est pas gratuit mais 4£ pour 24h. À côté d’un Joli parc, où l’on trouve 1 poubelle le seul service du lieu.

L’endroit est génial, à proximité d’Inverness. Le stationnement est gratuit, limité à 24h, la ville propose de faire une donation à travers les parcmètres. Balade le long du canal et promenade pour les chiens dans le très joli parc environnant. Idéal pour visiter le Loch Ness à Dores. Merci à la ville d’Inverness pour cette belle initiative !

Buen aparcamiento para pernoctar y visitar Inverness. Indicaba Motorhomes 10 libras pero solo dejaba introducir 4 libras por 24 horas así que dormimos y pasamos la mañana siguiente por 4 libras sin problemas. La señal indica que el pago es sugerido y no obligatorio pero pagamos para mayor tranquilidad al ser un costerazonable. 15 o 20 minutos andando al centro. Quizá faltan papeleras.

Great facility - thanks to the council for providing and encouraging visits by camping cars. Pleasant 30 minute riverside walk into the centre. Downsides are that it's close to a busy road and is itself a busy car park due to proximity to leisure facilities. Full of cars and mohos when we were there. Confusing ticket machine - can't pay more than £4 using auto-pay.

Parfait pour visiter la ville qui est à 30 minutes à pied. Calme malgré la proximité de routes.

Parking en graviers bien placé et calme la nuit. Nous avons payé 4 livres pour y rester 24h (pas possible de payer les 10 pour camping cars). De belles balades en ville à pied, château et cathédrale. Bien pratique pour une petite halte pour visiter cette belle ville.

Der Platz ist ausgezeichnet. Der Parkplatz liegt an einer Straße, die nachts aber sehr ruhig ist. 24 Stunden Aufenthalt kosten 10£/ ein kürzerer Aufenthalt dementsprechend weniger. Ein großer Park und der Fluss Ness sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Wir waren 2 Nächte vor Ort und können den Platz nur empfehlen.

Ideal stopover location. Large, levellish, gravel car park 25 minutes stroll away from the city centre. (We parked up a little closer - next to the river by the skate park and moved here later on). Felt safe here and very little noise overnight. Traffic builds up from 7.00am on a weekday. £10 / 24hrs.

Super parking très au calme a 10min de vélo du centre (petites routes qui longent la rivière). Nous y avons très bien dormi. Le tarif n'est pas clair : il est indiqué qu'on peut les subventionner en payant £5 pour 24h mais que c'est facultatif. et que les camping car paient £10 pour 24h, mais la machine ne permet pas de payer £10. Nous avons donc pris un ticket a £5 et n'avons pas eu de soucis.

Wir haben den Parkplatz mit dem Wohnmobil über Tag und Nacht, an unterschiedlichen Tagen, genutzt um den 360° Wanderweg um ganz Loch Ness zugehen. Es ist ein ebener Schotterplatz. Wir haben immer gut geschlafen und uns sicher gefühlt. Viele Leute parken hier um mit den Hund spazieren zu gehen oder sich im gegenüber liegenden Park aufzuhalten. Eine Spende ist möglich! It’s actually £10 for a motorhome to stay overnight, which seems a lot for what it is. Big bit of open land with not much around it. Decided not to stay

Very useful stopover for visiting Inverness. Flat car park which was quiet overnight in spite of roads. Bus stop outside the Premier Inn opposite the car park for buses into the city centre.

Great spot, fairly quiet, a little traffic noise. Great park for dog walk and the canal near by. No facilities. Voluntary payment. Beefeater pub opposite. Will use again if in the area.

Wide open parking area with some lighting. Easy enough to get a level spot. payment was,as mentioned previously, voluntary, but it feels like the right thing to do so after paying £5 for 24 hours we found a decent spot to watch the world go by for a couple of hours before settling in for the night. Some road noise but we weren't too disturbed by it. Would use it again if in the area.

Tidy, fairly quiet despite being near to road & fair price. Good walk along the canal & grassy park opposite with pond, our dog enjoyed both walks off lead. Great signal on O2 & Three. Even got a pizza delivered to closed caravan park on other side of the road! Other vans parked up & one lorry too, but loads of space! Felt very safe.

Great spot for a night. A local told us we didn’t need to pay as it states on the sign it’s only an invitation to pay however we chose to pay the £5 24hr charge. Great location for walking to the castle took just 25mins & the walk across the road through parkland was perfect for a bike ride. We noticed a lot of people cycling away from the city along the canal which looked amazing. Will return.

Great place for a stop over after finishing the great Glen way and walk into town tomorrow £5 for 24 hour.

Stayed here last night new car park couple of vans here no problems pay at machine £3 12hrs £5 24hrs pub over road nice canal walk. road by car park but not to noisy would recommend views ok

Not a place of beauty but functional, well lit and plenty of room. right on the Caledonian canal. perfect base for an early start on the bikes. in the middle of what looks like will be busy roads in the morning. we arrived at 11 pm. very quiet but another 4 or 5 motos here.

Great stop over for the day or all night. £5 for 24 hours
