Great spot. We used the showers in the leisure centre, they were free as part of the “winter warmer” scheme.

lovely little spot in a really nice park. excellent friendly scheme to welcome motorhomes - well done to Barrow council! not much of a view but the park surrounding the spot is great, fantastic for kids and quiet at night. A few taxi drivers using it as a waiting area until about 11pm, but otherwise really quiet. right opposite Aldi. access through the Leisure Centre car park.

Great spot, the park is beautiful for an early morning walk. it's handy for Aldi. Plenty of spaces. Bins and recycling. Next to the leisure centre so you could always for for a swim.

Stayed last night, arrived about 7pm too 2 cars parked up, we took a walk around the park until about 9:30 there where a few groups of teenagers but they all kept to themselves. Park is amazing so if you have children this place is perfect it’s got parks boot all field skate park our son loved it. Slept like a baby you could hear a few cars going past but this did not bother us. No tv signal but so just stuck a dvd on

Great place for peace of mind, camping vehicles welcome. We couldn’t get to the booking page via the QR code but we stayed with no issues. Aldi which is less than 5 minutes, and toilets in the park which I imagine are only open through the day. Nothing fancy, but safe place to put my head down.

A bit tricky to find but once here not a bad spot. 2 min walk to Aldi we couldn’t get tv signal but you can’t have everything. Walked around the park which is a beautiful walk. Bet it would be lovely in summer,

Free parking in Barrow Park. Access is via leisure centre off Greengate Street and not Park Drive. Two marked motorhome spaces. You are asked to book and agree a code of conduct via a QR code. Flat spaces and a security light so felt safe. Car park is generally not busy but is used for short time to pick up and drop students at the nearby school. Short walk into town. Park is supposed to be closed at n ight but wasn’t locked when we were there. There are 3 other free parking areas in Barrow - at Furness Abbey and Biggar Bank (with views of the sea) but we didn’t visit these.
