À un km de chez mon fils. Je m’y pose à chaque fois que je viens le voir. Excellent spot. Promenade avec les chiens le long du canal.
Petit coin tranquille en face du canal Charleroi-Bruxelles. Fréquente en journée mais rien la nuit. Silencieux à part les bruits d'animaux.
Small quiet corner in front of the Charleroi-Brussels canal. Frequented. Y dogwalkers and cyclists during the day but nothing at night. Quiet apart from the sounds of animals.
Internet connection works, but is rather poor.
Kleine ruhige Ecke vor dem Charleroi-Brüssel-Kanal. Tagsüber häufig, aber nachts nichts. Ruhig abseits der Geräusche der Tiere.
Pequeño rincón tranquilo frente al canal Charleroi-Bruselas. Frecuente durante el día pero nada por la noche. Tranquilo aparte de los sonidos de los animales.

Nice quiet spot. If you come from the E42, take the slightly longer route through the village Luttre instead of the one via the smaller byroads. These are very narrow, full of potholes and through a narrow underpass of a bridge to get to the parking lot.
XrisBuck12/09/2023Ich werde einfach kein Fan mehr von Belgien. Ja, der Platz ist kostenlos und wird nicht von Jugendlichen belagert, aber wir hatten bis in die Nacht hinein vom einzigen Anwohner ein gratis Konzert über Stereoanlage, der Zug fährt auch über Nacht, es kommen viele Leute mit ihren Hunden zum Laufen, die die Exkremente nicht weg machen wie wir und rund um den Platz herum ist es extrem vermüllt.

Great little stop over on canal and tow path. Sadly someone had fly tipped along the path so I hope no one tries to accuse campers of doing it. Don't worry about the low bridge sign as you ou don't have to go under it! Thank you to the community for allowing it.

Relatief, platte en grote parkeerplaats naast het water. Geen voorzieningen, veel zwerfvuil. Tijdens weekdag vanaf smorgens voertuigen die passeren. Trein op achtergrond tijdens de nacht.

Just a rudimentary parking space along the canal. But possibly very quiet. A police patrol passed by at 21:30, but despite our Tesla and a big Dutch camper, they moved on without interfering.

ruhig ohne Verkehr. für mindestens 6 Stellplätze Platz. direkt am Fluss gelegen. etwas unebener Untergrund.

June 22. Quite isolated but quiet. Barely noticed the trains. Mainly dog walkers and fishermen early. Joggers, cyclists and walkers during the day. Don’t need ramps if you pick your spot.

This is an almost level quiet corner next to the canal. A few dog walkers in the morning and a couple of fishermen in the evening. The trains are infrequent and can hardly be heard abo ve the bird songs. 5

Lovely place next to the Brussels-Charleroi canal. Good place to watch the birds on the water. Trains are passing nearby, but the sound was not disturbing us. However, I can imagine that a lot of cyclists are passing on a sunny summer's day.
