Got the job done for a nights stay as there’s not too much around, road gets quiet after 10pm and is a deep lay-by. Pot holes are huge and scattered throughout, minimal flat areas. Luckily we were the only ones there for the night so could get the best spot.

Great little spot off the road. Big enough for 6 motorhomes. Uneven ground. Wouldn’t leave the van unattended.

Great overnight stop. As others have said the Road is busy but it’s a deep lay-by. Quiet 10pm-7am.

Big layby - can hear the traffic but far enough away to feel safe. Once traffic calmed, we had a very peaceful nights sleep. No restrictions. No frills and no services, but quite close to Lyme Regis and free!

It's close to a fast noisy road but deep enough not to worry. No services but no restrictions. Best of all: no cost. Good signal. Great for a stop over when off the grid. Make use of it. Lumpy potholes but get it just right and you are on flat ground.

Easy to park in, plenty big enough, no signage forbidding usage. Road it's on is fast but not noisy enough to keep us up. no services but a good nights stop over if you don't need a site.

It’s ok. Big lay by. Plenty of room. Road fast but far enough away. Nothing special but functional. Large potholes.

  • 3/5

Useful stopover, deep gravel layby. Fairly flat aside from some large potholes which are easy to straddle. Road noise but no van shake as layby is deep enough that you can get safely off the road. Excellent 4g signal on EE. Nothing else here, no footpaths if you need to walk dogs.
