Sehr freundlicher Empfang und empfehlenswertes Pub. Das Lokal wird recht voll, eventuell vorher auf der Webseite reservieren falls man essen möchte. Ideal für einen Besuch in der fussläufig erreichbaren Whisky-Brennerei.

The owners make this place extra special on top of the food, bar (especially extensive whisky collection) and flat car park being perfect! Arrive as visitors, leave as friends!

Very very friendly people, great food ( not the fried stuff you get anywhere else). I liked the whisky’s. Pitch is on pebbles so always dry. On the highest point of the highlands. Open Friday to Sunday. We hope to come back here.

The Team here are very welcoming. Let us stay here with our roof top tent. Extensive whisky and gin selection a choice of craft beers. Good sized flat car park.

We had a great stay here for the night en route to Ullapool. Plenty of places to walk followed by good food, good beer and excellent cocktails in the Lodge where the atmosphere was lively and friendly. Dog friendly too which is always a bonus.

As others have said, this place is great. I'd go as far to say a genuine highlight of our trip! Just the kind of place you hope you'll come across before you set off!

The most amazing place! Hostel with a bar. And you can spend the night in their car park (you should probably buy food and drink first). Car park has room for probably 8 or so campervans. There were only 2 when we stated. Food is lovely, cheap, very tasty, home made and warming. Very good selection of beer, whisky and cocktails. Hosts are very welcoming. Will 100% stay again.

Great stop over. Plenty of space. Very welcoming. Lovely homemade food. Well stocked bar with nice atmosphere. What's not to like.

Heads up they are only open Thursday to Sunday. We showed up on Tuesday and the owner was super kind and let us stay for the night anyways. Much appreciated, highly recommend!

The Lodge, Dalwhinne....Fabulous stop over!! Owners are just lovely, so welcoming.....home cooked food £6.50 per bowl. chilli, spaghetti, pasta etc......they even opened toilets in the morning and you could get a coffee inside. Loch Ericht hotel 2 mins up the roads open at 8 and do a fab breakfast......will definitely be calling here again!!!

Stopped here after seeing it on park4nite. Owner was very welcoming, said it was no problem to park overnight. We had something to eat and a couple of drinks in the lodge. Can't fault the value for money, £6.50 for chilli, bolognese etc. Home baking available too. Lovely quite night, great sleep. Highly recommended.

First time wild camping in our campervan and what a great place to start! The couple that own the bar were very friendly and welcoming and even opened the bar the next day at 0730 to allow us to use the toilets and made us coffee for the day ahead! Overnight parking is free and the bar has a good selection of drinks and food available.

Lovely bar and welcoming people. go to the centre of Dalwhinnie and take the turn for the station the bar is on the right
