Very disturbed night, busy in the car park with lots of racing and engine noise, shouting and swearing
Aire de stationnement au bord du lac, aucune restriction. Aucun service. Proche d'une route A, mais plus calme après 19h. Oiseaux abondants sur le lac et promenade autour du lac.
Lakeside parking area, no restrictions. No services. Close to an A road, but quieter after 7pm. Abundant Birdlife on lake, and a walk round the lake.
Parkplatz am See, keine Einschränkungen. Keine Dienstleistungen. In der Nähe einer A-Straße, aber nach 19 Uhr ruhiger. Reichhaltiges Vogelleben am See und ein Spaziergang um den See.

kabevan20/09/2023Für eine Rast ein schöner Stellplatz direkt am See. Kurze Seerunde auch möglich. Wir waren nur tags hier, nachts sicherlich laut wegen der Straße.

Avoid at all costs during the night!! I have just spent a terrible night here. Lots of road noise, cars coming and going with loud music, boy racers and, worst of all, people banging loudly on the van a couple of times during the night.

Pond car park. No restrictions, coffee mobile van here in the day. Quiet roadside. Lots of ducks, swans seaeagles. Lovely sunset
steeth11/08/2023We drove here on the way to Hereford with time to spare. Its beautiful, busy with people just enjoying the view and sitting on benches spread around the lake. Plenty walks around the lake,our dogs loved it. ps, Very noisy at night,cars revving ,horns tooting and loud music, but the walk into town in the morning made up for all that. Its beautiful, friendly people,good selection of shops and cafe

Schöner Platz an einem See mit vielen Enten. Stadtnah. Tagsüber bei gutem Wetter viele Spaziergänger. Abends bis ca 0:00Uhr einige Autos, die laut Musik hören und hupen. Danach aber sehr ruhig bis ungefähr 8Uhr morgens. Ebene Stellen verfügbar. Keine Verbotsschilder.

camped here 21/04/23 in our 24 foot rented van . Arrived at 9pm . A few cars here an only . Couldn't see in the dark but awesome to wake to a lovely view of the lake and it's feathery inhabitants. Highly recommend this spot . No signs , no restrictions . A bit of road noise in the morning and some cars coming and going until 10.30 pm at night and the sounds of ducks and geese
lousimps09/04/2023A pleasant spot, busy on arrival in the afternoon due to it being a lovely day and the Nantwich Music Festival (reason for our stay). We headed into town and had drinks and meal and watched a band. Not quite 5 stars as is in view of homes although they are quite far away . no issues with residents apart from the ducks :P There was a bit of litter which I picked up so noone thought it was us

RinusKroon27/06/20221 nacht hier gestaan. Overdag (zondag) gezellig druk met wandelaars. 's Nachts rustig. Prima plek om wandeling langs rivier en kanaal te doen.

Lovely scenery and wildlife, but the smell... Couldn't tell if it was farmers muck spreading or the bins! Tried to enjoy a walk around the lake but the smell made us feel a bit nauseous! Vigilante house dwellers opposite, constantly staring out the window shaking his head as well. Didnt stay the night but others did.

There’s plenty of activity during the day as you would expect, went quiet after 7pm. Awoke after a quiet night to a lovely lakeside view.

Good place to stay for one night. Lots of dog walkers visit at all times of day and evening.
Roaminaround25/07/2021Nice park up. Lake was busy when we arrived, but very quiet overnight. Breakfast van arrived at 07.30 on Sunday morning.
