nbair01/03/2024Great little stopover away from main road. Very quiet. We were the only ones there. Nice historical area to look around. Good for dog walking.

WolfgangSwoboda11/09/2023wunderschöner Parkplatz etwas versteckt abseits der Hauptstr., sehr schön für einen kurzen Übernachtungsstop auf dem Weg nach Schottland, keinerlei Ver-/Entsorgung, nehmt also Euren Müll wieder mit und benutzt den angrenzenden Wald nicht als Toilette, aktuell ist alles sauber und gepflegt, solche Plätze muss man so lange wie möglich erhalten, gibt es leider mittlerweile nur noch wenige dieser Art

TheGreyLady22/03/2023Lovely space. Space for four vans, always quiet. Lovely 15 minutes dog, walk there, without having to go onto the road, lots of interesting history as well. Nobody bothers you, within walking distance of a little pub. Serves food most / all days. Just off the A697 so perfect to explore the area. Worth going up college valley if you’re there a couple of days.

Siamo stati con un camper grande ed è un bel piazzale in piano ed adeguatamente spazioso. Notte tranquilla in 2 camper ed un'auto/camping . Vicina alla strada ma nessun rumore di traffico. La consiglio.

Big gravel plot. Quiet. No other vans or vehicles here. Good place for the night! Dog walkers in the morning as there are some nice walks around.

Quiet spot, we had a good night, but nothing special. We were the only van staying for the night. It's not a secluded spot as its open to the road, but the road is quiet.
PeterFletcher27/03/2022Good overnight spot in a county that doesn't seem to be campervan friendly. Quiet spot and there's a pub in the village. Dog walkers in early morning but not a problem.

Indeed a very calm spot. Just for a night, not the ideal place to install outside for a day. Northumberland' national park has great spots for that, we spent the entire afternoon just came here to sleep (prohibited in the park). wooler is a nice little town.

I parked here for the evening. Room for two vans which still leaves room for a couple of cars, as the car park seems popular with local dog walkers. Very quiet. An interesting historical walk in the next field. Two bars of 4G.

As above with local pub and cafe within walking distance. Would visit again as really handy if heading north or south on A697.
