We stayed at the spot for two nights. It's a great place, just about 300m to the waterfalls, swimming right next to the parking. About 150m down the river is a small park with a free (very basic) toilet and a fitness station. Some people came for a picknick or a swim during the day but quite most of the time. Supermarket as well about 100m away.
