Auberge de la porte. Super endroit. Au fond d'un pub très sympathique. Si vous prenez un repas et une boisson (nourriture de première classe), il ouvrira la porte arrière et vous laissera rester à côté du Lough Neagh. Vraiment bonne soirée et bon séjour. Je reviendrai.

Gate Inn. Great spot. At the back of a very friendly pub. If you have a meal and a drink (First class food) he will open up the back gate and let you stay beside Lough Neagh. Really good evening and great stay. I will be back.

Gate Inn. Toller Ort.

Great spot, food only in bar on a Fri, Sat and Sun and also a pizza van at the back which is open the same days.

Hi all, I stopped to check out this location and decided to stay the night Tuesday 8th November 2022. The pub is now only open apparently weekends however, a local informed me that I could still stop the night and even offered to set me up with electricity if I wanted. I agree with other users this is a super spot especially if you are allowed to go through the back gate. I would use again:-)

a grassed area to the back of The Gate pub but I don't think it has the anything to do with the pub as it's signposted by NI waterways. slip going into the water, lots of water sport going on around. pub is quite noisy but quiets down. had dinner and used the loos but next day the pub didn't open til 12pm and weren't serving food so you have to be self contained. 3 motor homes that night.

superb spot at back of pub Amazing sunsets and birdsong over Lough. Quiet after 10/11pm on busy nights (I stayed 2 nights Electric/ water available, but it depends on who you talk to. Unhelpful older man at bar refused to help me with anything. Asked young barmaid about it later when he was gone she rang the owner who let me use the electricity for £10.

a sunset to die under, a morning as glorious as the dawn chorus. staff incredibly helpful and zero issues. locals were quite noisy but we are behind a pub. never really paid us any heed. met a lovely man by the name of Thomas following the app too. he was in a van and us in a rooftop tent. nice genuine guy. really the only thing missing is a toilet block but since it's free can't really complain.

Great park up right beside Lough. Busy during the day but quiet at night. Safe. Nice meal at the pub. Didn't ask for electric hook-up/water etc as didn't need it. Will use again. 4G strong (EE).

Stayed here for a night on a Saturday. The staff at the pub are super friendly and accommodating, no problem using the space to stay over and even offered electricity and water. We stayed at the jetty next to the lough which is lovely but gets busy around 7/8am with walkers, cyclist's and open water swimmers. There was no food available when we stayed but there is a good shop a few minutes away.

Had a fantastic night in Gawley's Gate Lough Neagh and the The Gate Inn Aghalee pub, park up for the night for free as long as you have something to eat or drink in the pub, definitely be back, locals very friendly and welcoming and staff of pub were brilliant, dying this morning tho after those demon shots, Ireland retreats you just can't beat them

Fantastic place, food at the restaurant was delicious and the view of lough neagh from the car park is stunning. Would definitely recommend for a stopover.

Came here by chance, didn’t see it on park for night. Asked if I could park beside the road and the bar maid invited us behind the pub to sleep on the edge of the lake. Beautiful spot, very quiet on a Thursday. Stayed for a few pints and pool as a thank you (or that was the excuse!)
