Perfect spot to rest up after a day's driving. Great views of the lock also. This spot hold 3 large campervans with no problems. You get noise from traffic if your parked up early, however after the mass of people leave the island, it’s a perfect spot.

Comment comprendre que l'on mette plus d'une étoile à ce parking de bord de route, défoncé, pratiquement sans connexion, sans service... A part la vue, que tous les nombreux autres parkings ont, il faut vraiment être très très fatigué pour venir se reposer ici !
Une nuit au calme malgré la proximité de la route. C’est plutôt grand comme emplacement. Nous étions seul en ce début novembre. Belle vue au matin. S’il y a du vent c’est évidemment un peu exposé.
superbe point de vue ! cependant attention à y entrer doucement, le sol est bien défoncé ça secoue ! et du coup, pas mal de grosses flaques d'eau quand il a plu.
Vue magnifique au lever du soleil ! Nous étions seuls et avons beaucoup aimé cet endroit que nous recommandons vivement ! Très accessible
Magnifique vue sur le Loch, un peu en retrait de la route donc on ne craint pas les voitures qui passent. Assez peu de passage finalement, surtout à cette période de l'année donc la nuit était plutôt calme. C'est le vent qui a fait le plus de bruit, mais ça, ça n'avait pas de lien avec l'emplacement !
Great 4g on EE (50Mb/s down, 30Mb/s up), which was a godsend having spent an hour driving around Skye looking for decent signal. A bit of road noise, but opening the door to face the loch it wasn't a bad location to spend a day of remote work. Zero midges for me (15-17C, Aug 2023)
Uns war der Platz definitiv zu laut. Schon sehr früh morgens fahren Fahrzeuge mit hoher Geschwindigkeit und entsprechender Lautstärke in kurzer Entfernung vorbei.
va bene per una notte di passaggio. la notte è silenzioso e tranquillo, si dorme bene. ma già dal mattino presto la strada si popola di mezzi che passano a pochi metri.
tolle Aussicht aufs Loch. durch die Nähe zur Straße Recht laut. Der Verkehrslärm beginnt schon Recht früh. für eine Nacht auf der Rückreise absolut ok. Achtung: extreme Schlaglöcher auf dem gesamten Platz und vor allem bei der Ein- und Ausfahrt, hier extrem Vorsicht fahren, durch den Regen ist nicht immer zu sehen wie extrem tief die Schlaglöcher sind.
just off the main road. busy until 10pm but quiet overnight. nice views of the lock. a bit uneven but we got a flat spot. 3 vans there when we stayed.
Felt really safe to park here. Amazing views and pretty quiet later on.

Nachts ruhiger Schlafplatz, tagsüber ist schon was los. Toller Ort um Robben zu beobachten, im Watt zu wandern und Jakobsmuscheln zu sammeln. Volles LTE-Signal. Absolute Empfehlung!
Lovely views, Road fairly busy during peak hours. But views make up for this.
Good park up for the night. Space for 4/5 camper vans / motorhomes. Quite a few pot holes filled with water. Close to the road so can be noisy until traffic calms down. Beautiful views, felt safe and good sleep. Would recommend.

peccato le grosse buche. La strada di notte è deserta, il parcheggio è in piano ed il segnale internet è buono. per noi è sufficiente per una buona sosta notturna.
Nice little park up slightly set back from the road. There was hardly any passing traffic during the night. Lovely views, but nowhere to walk our dog. Managed to find a level spot but this might be more difficult if busy. Good signal on o2 & EE.

Great view of Loch Sligachan, good parking for 5ish vans. Noise from the road didnt bother us(didnt really notice it). Good 4G signal.

Beautiful little bay on a dead end road. the road is still in use for a boat ramp further down. space for at least 5-6 large motorhomes, lovely and quiet. would definitely recommend.
