Great park up in a small, quiet town. We stayed on a Friday night - no noise from the town, no traffic noise, the only noise was from the birds starting the dawn chorus at 03:50.

We've stopped overnight twice in the last three weeks. It's a free car park. No signs saying you can't stop overnight. Very busy during the day but ok at night. Quiet on our nights, a Tuesday and a Wednesday. Superb Chinese takeaway, a Spar with coffee and hot breakfast rolls etc. A couple of pubs and cafes. A huge park for dogs. A nice place to take a walk too, is to the aqueduct.

A las 10 de la noche sonaban los AC-DC a tope en el bar de al lado y nos fuimos a buscar otro lugar. No sé a qué hora acaba la fiesta.

Once the "Tav" closes and the merry folk go home it is lovely and quiet here. Plus you can park for free the next day (in the village car park, not the medical centre) and get the bus to Wrexham for Chester, Oswestry, Welshpool, Newtown or Machynlleth. Great field/ playground opposite and an even better playground along the main road towards Wrexham.

Really good parkup for 1 night. Right in the centre with no restrictions and we had a very peaceful night after eating at a local restaurant. A few lights around so not totally dark. Good public toilets. Locals use it in the morning for the medical center etc so we moved off although we didn't feel not welcome. Would definitely use again. Thank you Chirk.

No charge or restrictions. Address quoted is slightly wrong but just follow car park and toilet signs. Use the Castle Bistro! very very good. Get there early or book!

Stopped for the night on way home. Very handy car park. No restrictions, quiet and no charge, at time of writing this. Lovely park over the main road for the dogs. Had Sunday lunch at Teddy Bears Tearoom, just like my mum used to make.

Great place to stay. Quiet night close to town. Few nice pubs and cafe. Lovely walk to Chirk Castle worth visiting. Close to canal. 1 hour walk to Trevor aquaduct which is impressive

Nice and quiet overnight. Car park busy Saturday evening but still plenty of space.

Stayed here 8/3/22 Well lit & CCTV, public toilets closed overnight but opened at 7.30am. Mobile phone signal on Virgin mobile.Takeaway close by including pizza, kebab and fish and chips, couple of pubs too, didn't try any of them. Less obvious parts of the car park to stealth camp were on a little slope. Very quiet night sleep, left at 8am and a few cars were arriving then. Felt very secure.
