very good stop over large area fairly level, sheltered with trees all around

arrived at 10pm and left at 6am, was the only vehicle there the whole time and very quiet.

Als wir gegen 22 Uhr ankamen war leider noch die Hölle los aufgrund eines Fußballspiels. Über Nacht ist die Geräuschkulisse durch die angesprochene Firma nicht die ruhigste. An sich ein schöner, sauberer Platz. Aber früh morgens bereits reger Trubel durch die Gassigänger. Wir würden nicht noch mal einmal herkommen.

Stayed on Sunday night. 4 others parked overnight. Quiet & safe stopover just off A1. No TV or satellite signal but internet fine

No one else came all night, sheltered and one bar of 4G on O2 and Vodafone, just enough to watch Netflix etc. Factory across the road is loud all night long, with some road noise too. Not bad if you can sleep through that though.

Quiet level parking spot, plenty of spaces surrounded by trees with a bin. Few dog walkers in the morning. Light traffic noise throughout the night but nothing too loud.

Nice quiet and safe stop for the night. We were the only ones on Sunday night. Don’t agree about the wind - the trees shelter the spot, so I would say it is rather less windy here than elsewhere.

Nice safe stopover. Good signals & shelter. Very windy. Bins & walks, (wellies needed, muddy ). Lots of dog walkers. Friendly locals.

Parking stond overvol bij aankomst. Bleek een sportwedstrijd te zijn. Later op de avond en de nacht was het zeer rustig. Je hoort wel de hele nacht door een gezoem van de A1!

Endroit très calme, et bien sympa. Les soirs de match c'est peut-être plus animé...à voir sinon, beaucoup de promeneurs de chiens jusqu'à 22h00...et à partir de 6h00...mais franchement pas gênant du tout. nous y avons passé une excellente nuit. pas de services...cest un parking.

quiet night with no noise or disturbance. Even the dog walkers seemed to start late. A vast area with plenty of tree cover.

Arrived at around 9pm on a Saturday and heard nothing (apart from the A1!) until about 7am when the dog walkers started arriving. Massive car park with a bin.

Nice, big, semi-level bit of hard standing right next to a large field. Don't necessarily expect a quiet stay though, we stopped over on a weekend and had a carpark full all evening because of a football match, then a prom at the football club, then a marathon the next morning so the carpark was full throughout the day.

Perfekter 1. Stopp nach der Ankunft in Newcastle um dem Hund ein bisschen Auslauf zu gönnen. Großer Parkplatz direkt neben einem weitläufigen Sportfeld, der zum Flitzen einlädt.

Very peaceful night. Quite alot of activity until about 10.00 but nobody bothered us then nothing until dogwalkers at about 7.00. There is a bin.
