Endroit fabuleux sur un tronçon de route très calme, encore plus calme la nuit. A côté d'un long sentier pédestre (ancienne voie ferrée). Beaucoup de place, je me suis garé à 90⁰ de la route (véhicule 7 mètres) sans bloquer les autres véhicules ou piétons.

Fabulous spot on a very quiet stretch of road, even quieter at night. Next to a long walking trail (old railway line). Plenty of room, I parked 90⁰ to the road (7mtr vehicle) without blocking the other vehicles or pedestrians.

Not bad, fairly quiet. one bin.

relativity quite nights sleep but expect doggers in the early evening till around 1am looking for shenanigans. we were never disturbed but it was quite the site seeing the same 5 cars look over to our campervan waiting for some sort of signal, also throughout the evening cars were pulling up and people getting out. if this makes you feel uncomfortable then perhaps find somewhere else.

Arrived just after 10pm. There were some wipes on the ground although there is a bin there (I disposed of them along with our rubbish). A few cars stopped and turned round during the night but generally very quiet. Busier in the morning with dog walkers.

Excatly as described in other reviews. If you drive up a little further on right, there is another layby to choose from. We arrived just after 9pm and it was quiet. During the night there was a handful of cars pulling up and stopping or turning around. None bothered us. There is a bin here and it was fairly clean, but wetwipes had been dumped on the floor.

lovely walk in the woods, but be aware of Doggers early evening, i was approached by 2 males at different times in the evening otherwise a lovely quiet spot for an overnight stop

Lovely quiet, dark spot. Nice and level and plenty space for bigger motorhomes. Dog walkers in the morning but no hassles at all.

This is a great place for an overnight stop, it’s free but no services. Once you turn into Crackley Lane there is a parking space on the left but if you drive further there are more and better places to stay. This is a great resource so please keep it that way by treating it with respect.

Stopped here Friday night with one other van. Arrived at 7pm lots of room. It’s a lay-by on a quiet country road with the occasional car passing by and turning around but nothing that bothered us and we felt safe. We had a very quiet night. The disused railway line attached dog walkers in the morning and is a nice walk if you want to have a stroll.

I got there about 10.30pm and there was some dodgy people around same cars driving up and down so I moved

Exactly as stated above, quiet park up spot no facilities but space big enough for even large campers to get your head down for the night. Exactly the type of spot I was hoping to find by getting the app.

We were looking for a 1 night stopover. Found this place, great. We arrived around 9.30pm, had a quiet night. Traffic starts to pass early around 6ish but not bad. Right next to a bridge with a cycleway on. Great for dog walkers.

    Perfect little spot.

I agree with the original post. We are approx 8 metres with the bike rack and can park perpendicular to the road. Plenty of room for 4 or 5 at least if parked courteously. Trail walks and woodlands nearby. There is also another lay-by at the other end of the bridge which could fit a couple of campers easily. Lots of dog walkers but it’s really quiet and ideal for a stop over.
