really expensive parking, small spaces, no services. difficult to pay (need app).

The Lake District National Park Authority are hosting a free black and grey waste disposal unit in their main car park. This is a temporary unit funded by Cumbria's tactical visitor management group. Please show your support by visiting the local attractions, shops and business whilst you are in the area.

Great for emptying cassette toilet but need hose to also empty grey water. Unfortunately, there is no water, potable or otherwise. Quite an oversight really, as there are very few places in the Lake District to fill the water tank!

Trailer with tanker for toilet No drainage for grey water ,no tap to fill up only can empty toilet and that's it Shame beacuse shows how little effort council made.

Located in the Council office car park at the far end. Brilliant idea!! If only more councils and areas adopted the idea.
lauren._.shaw25/06/2021Quick and Easy ... just what we needed. Within 5 minutes of me looking for a place, we had emptied our waste and was back on the road! Very handy and free too! The only ask is to spend money in the local area so off to the pub it is :)
